:payne:

Looks like an extremely abnormal usage of bandwidth to me.
I usually barely get over 30 Go per month...

Yes, I did download 13 Go of video files on uTorrent, but seriously, that's about it. And that download lasted 1 day, and I had set my Upload speed to be at the lowest, so there's seriously absolutely no reason for my Upload value to be higher than my Download one.

What to do? D:
How can I know if someone's using my internet?
And how can I know from which files these values come from? Is it possible to track down the bandwidth used?

EDIT:
I'm using a Wireless Router.
D-Link
DI-624

Erm, I'm assuming it's a wireless router?

Reset your router and try to set or change the password.
You can also make your router hidden. But I have no idea how to do that.

Yep, wireless router.

I'll try resetting it, but I really don't know how that could solve the problem. :/
And I don't know how to change its password. :><:

Yeah, you just need to add a password to your router! Google the name of your router along with like "set password" and you should be able to find something.

Basically you type in your gateway IP into your browser to access your router, which is usually 192.168.1.1

The default username//password for English routers is admin//admin.

If it ain't admin//admin, it means I already have a password set up?
Kind of stupid I don't even know how to access it. -.-

http://www.google.com/search?q=default+router+password+list

Note that IP address is just your own gateway, by the way. We can't get to it by that link.

Edit: If you can't access your password still, try resetting it (power off, or else it might be a button or one of those pinhole things in the back...).

No no, you can access it from that link because it's on your local network. When we click on that link you posted up there, we access our own router. Anyways, try admin//admin in french? I dunno D:

Did the router come with an install disk or something? Is there a support site to email? Gotta find that password out somehow (or set a new one, like with an install disk).

Well, according to this, it's either:
  1. admin : (none)
  2. User : (none)

Otherwise, follow my above advice and try a reset. If someone has hijacked and changed the password, this is your only option.

I was talking about the URL to use. I have already tried those acnt/paswd combinations.
I'll try resetting it in a few minutes, after being sure no one else brings up another idea.

Look up your default gateway's IP address. Type 'ipconfig' in your command prompt.

Edit: URL? Whatcha mean, bro?

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

That is your local IP address. Any of us who click that access our local routers, not yours.

Call your ISP and ask them what the password is. Most of the time it is written on the router (if it was sold to you by the ISP).

If you're using windows, to get to your router, open up a command window and type

ipconfig

Look for "Default Gateway" and the entry to the right is what you need. (O lol I see now that you just got this)

Then go back to your browser and type that into the address bar, where you might be typing staredit.net. It should prompt you for an ID/password then, or take you into the firmware (firmware right?) of your router and you can change settings and stuff there.

Assuming someone is stealing your Internet he'll most likely also have password protected your router. The default passwords won't work anymore.

There should be a reset button on the case of the router which sets it back to factory defaults. However this also deletes your Internet configuration and you have to repeat the steps you did when you first installed Internet on this router.

After that, configure your WLAN for WPA-PSK and enter a secure pre shared key (a key with special chars, upper and lower case letters and not containing real words). And set up a user name and password for accessing the router menu.
If you can use cable (disable WLAN) because with that your Internet can't be stolen at all. If you have to use WLAN check your router menu for a whitelisting option where you define the MAC addresses that are allowed to connect. Others will be blocked.

If your router has a log option you can enable it to see which MAC addresses were connected (to find out if your Internet has indeed be stolen). Otherwise the WLAN section of your router should at least have a menu showing the currently connected clients. Check your own network traffic and compare with the summary in your router (the screenshot you provided).

Yesterday night, I did reset my router, and then I couldn't get to have internet back again, so now I'm stuck without internet at home (writting from school ATM). XD
Anyways, I've talked to some guys around here and I have quite a few things to try out.

I'll keep you guys up to date.

EDIT: Also, forgot to say we're 3 using the internet in the house. However, my sister and my dad just rarely use it except to go on FaceBook. So no, I can't use a cable. ;)

Are you able to get to your firmware interface now? If so, then it's likely you were hijacked.

Unless the box is just plain broken, you ought to be able to fix your internet access without too much difficulty.
