Does anyone know how to create a music mash up/remix? Like combining two songs. If so, what programs are helpful for this and how would I go about trying to create one of these songs? It does seem kind of simple, but I have absolutely no knowledge about how to do this.
An example of one could be any remix you've heard or extreme mash ups by "Super Mash Bros" Like this:
Feel free to redirect me to a thread that already has the same topic as this.
A long time ago, I would use windows movie maker. Yep. That's how I'd mix my songs for my maps. The program isn't intended for music editing, but it works.
Is there an easy way to remove the acoustics of a song and just have the vocals on Audacity? I youtube'd how to remove (or quiet them really low) the vocals.
Audio files are complex things. I strongly doubt there's an easy, accurate way to do that, though the higher-end (expensive) software might be able to do it - somewhat.
You could theoretically, if a song was designed that all the instruments only had low/mids and the vocals had all highs you could just turn off all the highs. Mixing a song up like that wouldn't work though, that is unless they were in the same scale(s), had the same chord progressions (in certain styles, IE pitch axis), had the same tempo, the same beat length, the list goes on and on.
