I'm just a fish

Why hello there mein friends, it's been too long aye? I'll bet no one remembers me ;_;

Anyway, I've slowly been getting myself back into the world of modding starcraft and with a little help from Zdoom I've gotten an idea for a mod and have been working on it for the past few days. Thing is, I'm transforming the terran into a completely new race so I have a lot of stuff to replace. Graphics, Tech-Trees, Units, etc etc. I also wanted to alter the music too, and using a modified SF Playlist plugin, I was going to test out if Starcraft could play .midi soundtracks mainly because I have some mighty long ones that are a mere 40KB, which is roughly the same size as a 1-2 second .wav sound and would barely hinder overall file size.

However, when I go to select said playlist in MPQDraft, it doesn't appear so that I may configure.

IE: It looks like that ^

Now, I'm not sure if MPQDraft is still the same compiler used to make .exe files, like I said I've been gone from modding for a very long time save for a few AI Projects. But some help would be well appreciated, as I feel like a noob again :><:

EDIT: This also happens to any other plugin I try to upload.

PyMS and ProTRG developer

What other plugins are you trying? What version of MPQDraft are you using? Anyway, you should probably be using FireGraft (I believe the most up to date version of FireGraft can be found here), which supports MPQDraft plugins.

Be sure you have the most up-to-date MPQDraft. I think you may be seeing one of the bugs that was later fixed.

Shadowflare's playlist plugin, with a few edits of my own - Basically changing .wav to .midi for the terran tracks. I have the latest versions of both MPQDraft and Firegraft, as when I downloaded both to make sure I got windows asking if I wanted to replace the same files.

That is the same exact link I used to download my copy of MPQDraft, actually :P. Like I said, I think it just hates me... If I can't get it to work, I'll try it out with Firegraft.

EDIT: Just tried out Firegraft, that doesn't work either as the file isn't 'in the correct MPQ plugin format'.

Vrael -- Maybe here on the StarEdit Network I could look through the Forums for some Introductions to people who care about the Topics of Dehumidifiers and Carpet Cleaning?
