I know I'm late on this, but Blizzard is allowing people to download the full StarCraft II client before hand. You don't have to pay up front to download the game, so you can download it now, and when StarCraft II gets released on July 27th, 10:00 AM PDT, you can just skip the downloading process and jump straight to purchase, activation, and play. Particularly useful if you're planning on purchasing a digital copy of the game, rather than one out of the box.

The Wings of Liberty alone is 7GB.

Those who like sifting through files and whatnot can get an early peek too.

No, you install the game, but you can't play it until July 27th, when it becomes playable after you pay for it on battle.net

I highly doubt that it is even crackable, I bet there are missing core files which will be downloaded form the b-net on 27th, dunn though.
Plus, why should someone put so much effort into something for less than 8 days?

Please report errors in the Staredit.Network forum.

The full game is present, and it was not stated that any files were missing. Blizzard just said that you could skip the wait and start playing immediately.
That being said, I would not be surprised if the game were cracked to at least support Single Player.

According to their website, this is not how it works.

It does not allow you to download the client itself, just the digital installer so you can install right away and buy right away.

It's not the whole client.

2. INSTALL

On 07/27/2010 10:00 AM PDT, when sales of digital copies begin in North America and Latin America, start the installer program.
3. PURCHASE

Choose Activate**, and follow the options to log in to Battle.net Account Management and purchase StarCraft II.
4. PLAY!

Wait for the installer to complete then log in using your Battle.net account to play.
It also speciafically states that it will let you play the game faster. It never says immediately.

To link the official site for it:

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

How many people who pre-ordered specifically got digital copies? This seems odd since most places are selling physical copies.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

I just like the comfort of having a physical copy just in case. For SC2, though, I got the Collector's Edition so it's not like I had a choice.
