My complete lack of foreign language ability means I could feel uncomfortable and out of place in almost any country that didn't speak the language.

I have a few Spanish (or Spanish-speaking) friends so I'd say Spain at a push.

However I'd probably move across the pond to the US if I was to live abroad.

Faz, I really don't think it's hard enough to learn a new language to stop yourself from finding a better life in another country. Now, whether you'll find it is a different matter... :P Plus, I really don't expect English to become the main language of Norway, Sweden or France. I don't know why you think they'll abandon their languages in favor of English.

I haven't traveled nearly as much as I'd like to. I've been to Russia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Canada, USA, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. All but two of those for less than a month total. I'd like to go to France. >_>

I wouldn't expect them to give up their native language. As I said, I expect languages to become all but CULTURALLY obsolete. But 85%+ of Swedes speak English, so I wouldn't have much of a problem. =)

Also, it's gorgeous.

Ill help smuggle you in dont you worry none.

Honestly I dont ever plan on leaving the US, not even for Japan like some of the fan boys here. Theres nothing worse than finding out theres someone 30 times crazier than you are, and that they make money doing it.

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

Italy, specifically Florence. I've been there twice and fell in love with the city. Part of that probably has to do with my interest in Renaissance history, though. Gorgeous, gorgeous place.

I don't know if I 'd want to live in Japan, but I've always been fascinated by Japanese history and culture. I bet if I stayed for a month in Tokyo or something, I'd wanna stay forever.

There are three places in the world that I have found I loved.
1. Interior Alaska
2. Brno, Czech Republic
3. Srinagar, Kashmir

There is one other place that I would love to go to which is:
Aldabra Island, off the coast of Morocco.

These are where I plan to live at various points of my life, going 1, 2, 3.

I wanna live in Canada.

I heard that in Japan everything is hella expensive, so that you have to be hardworking to "invest" in a dinner with a girlfriend for example.

My votes still on not planning on moving, but if you're talking about visiting other countries thats a way different story. I wish I could fly to Croatia to meet someone I met who means a lot to me right now. [/offtopic]

When I went on my europe tour 2 years ago, we went to france, germany, switzerland, and austria.

Honestly, based on my experiences there, switzerland, austria, and germany would all be awesome places to live in my book. And it's not like we jsut hit the main tourist spots either. I really like the small village feel you get in certain parts of all those countries.

I hated France.

Just Here For The Pie

I have two years of Français behind me to consider France or parts of Canada, but I also have two years behind me without practice. I would have to relearn it.

If I am ever going to abandon Illinois and the rest of the States, I would want to go to Singapore.
Lucky the first language is English.

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
[2024-5-06. : 12:51 am]
Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
