Patch 15 has been made


General
- Improved the system that handles initial placement and promotion/relegation between Leagues & Ladders.

Balance Changes

TERRAN
Hellion
- Weapon upgrade bonus decreased from 1 (+1 Light) to 1.

Reaper
- Nitro Packs research cost decreased from 100/100 to 50/50.

Siege Tank
- Siege Mode damage decreased from 60 to 50.

Thor
- Anti-air weapon upgrade bonus decreased from 1 (+1 Light) to 1.

ZERG
Brood Lord
- Weapon upgrade bonus decreased from 3 to 2.

Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue with publishing maps in non-English locales.

I haven't played SC2 at all, but from watching the patch notes it seems that they're gradually homogenising everything that was unique and interesting about units, by taking away upgrades, upgraded damage, adding cooldown, size and speed changes etc.

yea i want the old op ms that could kill 5 bcs with 1 spell

but now its a big fat arbiter

i dont have sc2 but ive heard the original spells are in the new editor

No, actually, they lost four points of damage per upgrade to light flyers. Their damage is 6(+1)(+6 Light) x 4.

True. But now, even at maximum level, it takes three bloody volleys to kill a single mutalisk. It'd take even more if the mutas had armor. That's a pretty tough nerf, seeing as earlier it would've taken less depending on the circumstances.
