So... The way this should have worked, was 1 + 2 = 3 The way I read it, was that MZ was attacked being my 'friend' that used my body armor to protect himself from a hit. That was why I thought he was innocent, bad wording on your part. Also, if I had indeed lost two lives that night, I should have died. At the start of the next day, my lives would have hit zero since I was no longer bunked and the sharing of our lives was over. Either that, or we had .5 lives a piece which is just stupid.

Also, hits directed at the pair are absorbed by BP until he dies, then the target gets the rest. Meaning if all four mafia had attacked you, you would have died at the 3rd hit, and MZ would have died at the final.

It wasn't long until Dark_Marine realized the creature was invulerable to his weaponry. A struggle of over 10 minutes ensued, with Dark_Marine winning by locking it in an commercial-sized freezer he happened to have.†
Unfortunately, the cops arrived finding the town Vigilante, Dark_Marine, dead from a bullethole, with a note attached saying "Must I do everything myself?*".
21• minutes after Dark_Marine's death, NudeRaider was shot at by a person who pulled up in a black car•. NudeRaider happened to duck quick enough to avoid the damage, but the mafia was not fooled.
Exiting his car, he walked so carefully one might say he was haunted•. NudeRaider took advantage of this to attack with his handy pet Zealot*. Unfortunately, the mafia saw it coming and dodged left•. The Zealot demolished his car, and then went on a killing spree in the town*.
The mafia then proceeded to immobilize NudeRaider, through an Arbiter's Stasis Field. House check discovered NudeRaider, the Villager, split into 13 pieces via a powerful magnetic field•.
Coroner's report indicates that the field was powerful enough to rip 5 pieces through the house, a feat that has absolutely• never occurred before.
Setting up shop and heading home for the night, Heegu was the third Townsman to be assailed. Having found nothing at the scene of the past two crimes, Heegu entered a condemned building that houses several druggies±•. After he was there for a while, the "residents" were getting angsty...they wanted him gone.
Sensing his danger, Heegu decided it was best to leave, and started heading home. He got a call, and went to investigate Dark_Marine's death. At the scene, he found a disturbing creature in the freezer, and ignored the obvious: why would someone have a freezer that big...and be innocent?*
Regardless, the creature had thrashed around the inside, and taken several hits on blunt± objects inside the freezer. Heegu carefully avoided the 11± combined pieces of the corpse, and continued to look around. Something did not feel right...he was sure he was alone, but his short hair± was on edge.
Heegu realized his danger far too late, and looked across the intervening space as the door swung shut. With his sword, he scratched "stop f###ing them*†" in the plastic wall. The Insane Cop, Heegu, was found hours after he had frozen solid, with nothing else in the freezer...
After logging off Staredit.net late last night, apos decided to make sure his house was secure†. His killer, however, had already snuck in. Aided by a drug± in apos's pink lemonade, he had slipped in through the bedroom window, on the highest± floor.
After apos decided he was satisfied with his house's defense†, he thumped upstairs. The Villager, apos, was found the next afternoon with blood all thoughout his house, and his body was chopped into pieces•. *
The Silencer, rayNimagi, has died. His body was found outside of a elderly woman's house last night. His body resembles swiss cheese.*
