yes definitely you did the grass near the edge of the cliff where it connects with low dirt perfectly... nice job.

Eurgh, I've been trying to figure out how to blend high ground on top of high ground (like mountains and stuff). I assume I can find tuts on this in the Terrain Wiki?

If you look at the map called jungle custom cliffs, in falks terrain compilation (if your working with jungle) theres some great stuff in the bottom right corner.

Pronogo, I am currently making a huge brush that is all about blending different cliff styles, but it's not on jungle since there's already tons of brushes and tutorials on that, but instead it's on badlands, but you can still look at the brush and see what you can do for jungle tileset as well. I'll be posting it in Brush project soon if you want to take a look at it, it may help.

samsizzle, I was just looking at it. Seems like a little bit of a lack of content, though (not that I'm complaining).

Marine, thanks! I might use the Badlands stuff for a melee or something.

Dec 30 2009, 9:36 pm Marine Post #607

Alright, Since I didn't want to double post, I posted my brush in the brush project topic. Also I hope the things i submitted to Falkoner are good enough D:

Making blends in badlands is virtually exactly the same as jungle... you would just be copying and pasting things from jungle stuff...

If you copy/paste from jungle it ends up being null and station blocks. So no, it's not really the same, even though the cliffs are, but it's on badlands so they can't switch-between. You know what I mean? :/

I meant not literally copy pasting the tiles, but finding the same tiles in the index and making the same blends.

Yeah but it's for badlands so you don't have to do it all over again. Very convenient the way I see it, I don't know about you, though. You see it how you want to.

Added Marine's pictures, left out the second in that set of 3, simply was too plain, added all of Tempz pictures, didn't add all the bridge ones, too repetitive, and some were very simple, also added Morphling's picture, and Howler's Trees.

So, Marine, Howler, and Morphling, welcome to the Hall of Fame :)

If I missed anything please tell me.

Submission from Mneox. Does anyone have the map? I'm seriously too lazy to reproduce that (even though it seems pretty easy) ;o
XD

That looks ridiculously less easy than it actually is.

I replicated it a while ago, I'll post it in a bit; I'm not at my comp right now.

sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
