Ugh.. I hate to say this, but I doubt I'll finish my map in time, I've just had too much going on recently, with finals and studying for my A+ Certification, of course, I do have Christmas break to work on it, but I just wanna say there's a chance I may not finish
I will personally find you and snip your twig and berries off if you don't finish it- just keep that in mind. We live in the same town after all.

Actually, I can probably get a demo of Summoner out before the deadline. Put me back in.
None.
Keep me on the list, I'm practically finished with all beta testing and bug hunting!!
It'll be done by the 20th.

Your rpg is intensely difficult.

Once again, I'm dropping out. I'm quitting SC because I'm too busy. (I'll stay around to finish BASW, though.)

Heya, the winner of this tournament will receive a medal in his profile which says "Winner of the Last Stand RPG Challenge 2009".
Kaias, make sure you PM me the winner when it's decided who won.
Speaking of which, how the submissions are judged is contested at this point.
Should the winner be decided by a community vote or for judges to be appointed? And the individual categories need to be set, as well. Prospective categories:
Most innovative
Best storyline
Best gameplay
Greatest replayability
Most professional
Most aesthetically pleasing
Funniest
Best briefing
Most Epic
Most creative
None.
"Most Epic" is a bad category. It's too general.
I'd say appoint judges.
None.
Sorry guys, IP has forbidden me giving the winner a special medal, he said "That's up to moose and me ^_^"

community vote
I entered the contest(along with everyone else) under the pretense that it would be a popular vote determining the winner. You can't change the rules at the last second in the middle of the game.
Besides, Judges could be one of many people here who would not want to see my map win ><.
Community vote.
None.
Add a category about Terrain details?
None.
Could go American Idol/Dancing w/ the Stars/ect style where we appoint 3 judges and they cast 50% of the score, and then the public at large gets to decide the other 50%.
Problem with any and all systems is we need someone to play every submitted map. It would be stupid to have a community vote where people have only played one map and they vote for it, while not comparing it to any of the others.
Besides, Judges could be one of many people here who would not want to see my map win ><. Community vote.
Like obviously Norm is going to vote Hero Sanctuary, but I doubt he'll have played every other map, so why should he (or anyone who hasn't played them all) get a vote?
Also, as before, I propose the "Most Badass" category.
None.
I completely agree with Vreal.
I think there should be maybe a few judges who are not in the contest, a part of the SEN community and have played a large amount of the RPGs on Battle.net
I think the community should have an opinion but only if they actually played the RPG. Also, unless their opinions follow the same criteria as the judges, then I don't think letting the community choose the winner will decide anything at all.
None.
I like the partial judges + partial community vote.
I also second the category "Most Badass" and it can replace "Most Epic" since the two would be redundant.
None.
Winner gets the Pariah golden globe.
None.
The only problem with community voting is that maps that might be amazingly good could not have a chance simply because they aren't advertised as much as other maps...
