any thoughts on voodoo jester? his cursed ground spell is amazing. one of the most damaging spells excluding ultimates in the game. and combines with mojo it can take out 75% of some heroes hp early-mid game

Never get Mojo early game, always go Cask and Cursed Ground, plus ult whenever. And he's great, but a very situational support hero.

why though? mojo + cursed ground deals massive damage. i do know that the stun is very nice at times, but usually in the laning phase its hard to get long stuns unless the enemy is stupid and stands near an archer when all the other creeps are dead.

I personally get Mojo. It's an AoE heal so it adds to your lane's survivability a ton. Then you can use it to force them out of lane after you level it a bit. Cask is pretty useless to me, to be honest. It does no damage and it's sooooo slow so anyone half decent spreads out or invises out of it so you almost never get a good string of hits. When you do, it's usually done in 3 seconds anyway because they're too close. Its only function is to set up your ultimate in my eyes.

Granted, I've never seen the hero picked in an upper level match so I can't really say which is preferred.

I outlaned him 1v1 in mid by a full level and almost got first blood on him (fucking misclicked, I had the kill =/), then carried my team: 10/5/16. =D It was a no-AB game versus him and some of his friends, we had a 19% chance to win according to PSR and we crushed. =D Torturer did awesome too, clutch stuns all game.

You should get AT LEAST one level of cask. Otherwise you'll be hard-pressed to land a cursed ground unless they're already stunned.

I suppose if you're going to babysit a lane, then it's decent. But casks have so much more versatility and is more likely to save you in a gank than Mojo will. Also, casks are also more effective at ganking and just overall, feel like it's much better early game than mid game.

I'm all for not conceding no matter how grim things look...
But if the game is so obviously lost that there is *absolutely* no way we can win, even with numerous little victories out of sheer dumb luck, then I rather not waste another 15 minutes of my life when we could be playing a different match.

We coulda won! But I suppose so, Puppet was really bad mid, we should always just get you to solo mid, even if you're scout.

There was no way we could have won unless at least 2 of them disconnected.

I hate when pubs don't listen.

Just kidding about Jester, I get cask now. It lets you farm soooo easily, even ancients (though you have to ignore Dragon Masters).

I dont een plan on playing the new patch. Behe's stun is so buggy, and the whole aiming aimed stuns onto a hero makes this patch just way too noob friendly to me. Plus, in general, every pub i play has at least one guy who picks a high tier hero and then feeds with them, basically losing us the game. I'm getting so fed up with it.

What does the patch have to do with pubs?
