Oh right, a comma does go there.

Haha, don't worry so much about punctuation as you worry about content and flow of the writing. I can edit whatever when it's ready.

Updates:

Finished Ninja, and killed a bug that was fucking up his "ShadowStitch" spell.
Psychopath 4/8 spells completed.

Well I could edit my story a bit more and take some editing work off your hands. Just point out the errors.

That comma was realy important though. It messed with the sense of rival.

Began looking over triggers, and I found SPELLING MISTAKES *gasp!*

ZOMG The Spelling Mistakes!!!!

I was planning on printing the triggers out and reading them during school, but I don't think I'll be able to print out 300+ pages... lol
And nice job on the terrain; although some bits are repetitive, the map flows very well and looks professional.

"Spellset" -> "Sepll set"
um what? Did you flip the two around?

"Platemail" -> Plate mail"
Platemail is fine. See chainmail.

Whoa, some of those mistakes I will fix right away. Some (2-3) are in temporary strings that are getting removed anyway, but the rest will definitely need to get owned.

On a slightly depressing note: I have tried so hard, but (Unless my place of work blows so I don't have to go in) It seems my efforts to finish the BETA by the Oct 20th Deadline just aren't cutting it. It will be close, but it looks like the completion of a BETA will take til the end of the week at the very earliest.

I apologize to everyone, but Bug-killing has made this last checkbox take a lot longer than anticipated.

EDIT: All permanent strings have been cleansed of noted spelling errors EXCEPT the one with "FACTORYL". I cannot find that trigger for the life of me.

EDIT2:
Completed
Working on
Incomplete

Samurai
Serpent
Mind Machine
Artificial Intelligence

Necromancer
The Illusionist
Rune Mage

Psychopath
Ninja
Creature of Mist

The Alchemist
Crimson Wolf

YO SEN:

Of the RED ones listed above this post, which 2 characters (for a total of 6) would you like to see in addition to the already complete ones to have a 3v3 test?

Rune mage and Samurai.

You already have a character that uses summons to fight, and one that is a chaotic bomber. These two probably fight more indirectly more than anything. I am assuming the Ninja isn't too much of a direct fight either, and am assuming the Samurai is. Finish the samurai so we can have a tanking character to test with. Also, I'm assuming the Rune Mage will be heavily offensively spell based, finishing these two characters should give the greatest diversity during the 3v3 testing.

Whoa, good points Cecil, I never really thought of it that way. Yeah, Rune mage is definitely all about offensive spells, and Samurai has some tanking and team play potential that is interesting. Alright, Voting is over because I like this notion.

Hm, let's see. Rune mage has 7 spells, but I'm already done with one... and Samurai needs 8, but none seem that difficult. So.. 14 spells shouldn't be too difficult.

I'll start on samurai first, his auras are going to be fun to use.

EDIT: Just finished 1/8 Samurai spells... (They're gettin done fast.) Who would like to play a 3v3 test later on tonight?

Nice, things are looking good. I am about 5/8 done with Samurai, Rune Mage is 1/7 done, I'll finish her after samurai.

Aw, won't be on tonight :-(

Samurai is 6/8 Complete. 8 Spells left until the Alpha is ready for us to play tonight. Sorry it's taking so long, but I'm trying to own a Chemistry Lab Report due in the AM at the same time as map making.

EDIT: Samurai is Complete and Rune Mage is ~5/7th of the way done.

Is anyone still online that wants to have a 3v3 testing session?

well... i played sandbox and to be honest the samurais spells are pretty bleak. You use dark templars in different amounts for like three of them... and the auras are just different units dying over and over again. You should try spicing the spells up.

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort

Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
