Is it possible for me to make a strategic temple siege guide, on this website, for players that do not understand the game? I do not know where to place this guideline under which category in the forums, and free websites restrict me greatly. If your asking why im doing this, it is because there are not many satisfactory games like temple siege on starcraft, and I hope it will carry on to SC2. I hope everyone can realize the potential this game as in a number of categories.

Just make a topic somewhere - the worst thing that will happen is that it will get moved. General Starcraft, maybe?

Ok thanks, another question is it possible for me to make a topic without it being public? I cant do it all in 1 sitting, it wil be an off and on job.

It would be appropriate in all these places: http://www.staredit.net/forums/37/ http://www.staredit.net/forums/22/ http://www.staredit.net/forums/27/ and even http://www.staredit.net/forums/38/ as a potential article. Just make sure you're specific in what version of the game your guide applies. Even the change between MT > M3 is pretty big game-play wise.

I believe someone posted a beginner's guide somewhere in here http://www.staredit.net/topic/3709/ and I've heard a few people at least talk about making a beginner's guide. No one ever wants to make an expert guide though :(

i don't think there's any way to make a private topic.

pm yourself what you want to write and then reply to yourself over and over again as you make changes

You can always just write in a .txt file and copy-paste when you're done.

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- the setting exists, it's just hidden in a weird place

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- instead change "Microtile Overlay" to "Impassable"

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- er, wait, idk why i was looking for height

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- below the minimap should be a thing that says "Overlay Settings" with a little + button in the corner, press the + to expand it, uncheck Use Defaults, then change "Tile Overlay" to "Height"

Sylph-Of-Space -- Unless I'm dum (possible)

Sylph-Of-Space -- It would be so so so nice if SCMDraft had some kind of dedicated "walkability" view for the tilesets.
