I don't like them... don't the only accept compressed folders? AKA .zip.

I fixed the crashing. The map was 196x196 which I was pretty sure was a real map size. But I couldn't load it. I can't load any maps that don't have real map sizes.

EDIT: Can't "play" the maps.

Copy the terrain into an already "playable" map. Then take a look at it. :)

It is I think. But it's a real Starcraft size. Try it out in-game. It doesn't crash.

SCMDraft 2. It's a program from Stormcoast fortress or something. Google it, I don't know the site.

scmdraft isnt the only editor out there that has special features like scmdraft. I got 3 of em includin scmdraft. scmdraft , starcraft xtra editor (cant use square terrain tho) , and starforge. google em if u want em oh and if you use starforge if u make a big map or even medium size it has a high chance of crashing your sc if you play the map so use at own risk. :)

Everyone knows those editors, but SCMDraft is the best one for extended terrain since you can copy and paste tiles. Xtra editor can't select them from a palette, and Starforge can't do isometrical terrain.

Wow, Starforge can't do iso?

Yeah it can. Where did you hear that bullshit from? Go download Starforge and open it, or look at the attached picture.

As for crashing, all independently placed weapon sprites tend to crash the game. I imagine it probably has something to do with the initial animation not being met, or maybe it's because sprites with a "Partially mobile/Weapon" flingy ID need to actually have a root unit attached to them.

Lol, yeah where did you here that from? I've never used Starforge. I've opened it up but never used it because I was too used to SCMDraft so it was too confusing for me.

woops, yeah it can, but not as well as scmdraft because it doesn't blend the terrain around it so you have to manually fix the blocks. That could have it's advantages though.

I got a mountain if you can call it that going, fit the images together like puzzle pieces. and you'll be able to see what the whole thing looks like. I didn't zoom out because then it would be too hard to see the terrain.

I still doubt there's anything new in there.

When you're using Paint to crop your pictures, save it as .PNG instead of .jpeg, as Paint doesn't let you pick the resolution of the JPEG like most editors do.
