Me, IP, Devilesk, Altos and I forget our last person had an epic game yesterday, Altos goes 0-6 with Pollywag Priest at the beginning and we lose our towers pretty early. We manage to get back though and win that game. Me, IP, Thuy and Av'Riku also had some pretty good games yesterday too, IP really needs to improve his thunderbringer though.
After going from a teamscore of 12-2 with me being responsible for 10 of them, to a complete and utter loss, I now realize I need to stop playing with certain people. DM and Kow played as good as they usually do, and our Accursed felt like trying to set a new record for deaths on a hero that should never die. v.v
Me and IP were easily able to kill an Accursed everytime we saw him, he slowed him down and I was hitting him, and when his ult turned on, I would just run beside him and stun him and we got him like 4 times like this. (I was Pest). If he actually had teammates it would have been a little harder.
Yea, I got off to a terrible start that game, although we made a nice comback at the end. The lowest point in the game was when I got trapped by full health creeps battling while successfully running back to the fountain, only to be soon killed.
Jumping up from noobs only games to playing people with thousands of kills is a steep learning curve though. I'm going to experiment with some new heroes and item sets today.

Magic damage can be blocked/weakened by magic armor. True damage (don't trust me on this) goes through both magic and regular armor and deals damage.

defiler has a big pool of mana, has a amazing push ultimate, when fully upgraded, has a 4 second cool down for a spell that does 350 damage in a line, and has a silencing AOE spell that has a 11 second cool down with a duration of 6 seconds.
I have to say, the only bad thing about this hero is that in the beginning of the game, it is extremely weak and poorly defended, unless you farm helm of the black legion really fast after you get some hero kills with your ultimate.
is arachna a very good counter against melee heroes?

And yes, Arachna rapes melee heroes in a lane. Later when initiators get Portal Key she's not as effective.

I always play noob games cause im still considered a noob and this is my hero strategy:
If enemy picks inteligence/nuking heroes, i pick jereziah
If enemy picks melee heroes, i pick arachna
If enemy does neither of the above, i pick blood hunter, cause most noobs dont know that hemmorage doesnt do damage if they dont move

I only get bloodhunter if they have 3-4 agi/int heroes. I DO NOT LIKE GOING AGAINST STR HEROES AS BLOODHUNTER! It's too much work just going for 1 kiil on a str hero. It is possible early game but if they're any good, mid/late game makes it really hard. Well it also depends on your farming.
A good counter to bloodhunter is getting linken (dota term since i don't know the HON term for the item), the item allows you to block 1 magic spell every 20 seconds or so, or just use jereziah cause magic immune is sexy.
Jereziah is a good idea against int/nukers but just rememeber early game farming might be a little harder since you're a melee and they're most likely a range.
Arachna vs melee is just silly! poor melee hero
