I did it tile by tile....you think a stupid picture mapper would add fingers and toes with doodads?
The tiles come from high dirt cliffs (I hated the darker blotches) and 2 of the high dirt cliff doodads. As you can see, I had some trouble on the sleeve on the arm....what a pain. And the statue is slightly out of proportion, therefore I think it is fairly clear I did not use a picture mapper.

Actually I planned it out to be viewed on map. It just so happened that the base was too wide, so I had to make it taller. If you view on minimap you don't see the face or arm either. =p

I don't actually think that you used SCPM, it's obvious that you did not, however, yours is not a blend, it is simply a drawing done with tiles, which is not what this contest is about, it's about making something that is believably part of SC, not using SC to paint a picture of something else, but actually recreating the object itself in the game.
