Hear me Raor!!

So its been along time, since i messed with stuff like grids and stuff, Im starting to rember. Right now in my map im making a basic spell, that shoots right in front of where you are pointing. As of now i only have the "East" Direction, but the strange thing is the system is very fast and i don't rember it being this fast, like it goes across the map almost instantly it looks like 1 big like of explosion, and it hits the other side of the map almost the second i use the spell, This map is 256X256 so its a big map, So all i want to know is can you get the grid to go that fast? Its kinda an weird question, but i really don't rember ever being able to make something go that fast when using a grid.

You run the same grid multiple times in a trigger loop, so it can move across the entire map within that trigger loop. So yes, you can make it that fast.

And please double-check your posts; we encourage people to use good grammar to ensure well-witten, quality posts are made.

Back* from the grave

You can use a death timer to slow it down, if you want.

The tutorial above has a slight error--the triggers will run 8 times per game second, or once every .084 real-time second.
What that really means is your triggers will run approximately 11.904762 times each second.

EDIT: you really could get the grid and spells to work seemingly instantly--with enough copy & paste.

yeah, approximately
According to my calculator, it's *approximately* 11.904761904761904761904761904762.

If you must insist on decimal equivalents. 84/1 works much better for me.
Unfortunately, it didn't just let me copy & paste the numbers :><:

That's what SEN's here for. Feel free to use us like $2 French whores. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you.
