I finished the entire first post, but SEN is preventing me to make it viewable. I removed the [size=10], [size=14], "Mineral sentence" to get enough characters, especially that they are unnecessary. And I might as well remove the lines.

I really wasted my time, yet I can add a code box in a post if you'd like, but it's massive.

One hint, in the future, for ones like that Ramp Landscape, just go through and add some mud and grass, and maybe a few doodads, just clutter it up and it looks 3x better :)

??? The space town and Ramp Landscape aren't very blocky, the ramp landscape a little, however, it looks fine and has other parts that make up for it.

Please do not critique me that badly as I am not a pro map maker as yourselves, I am a map maker trying his/her best like everyone they have a start...
Instead of just stating its blocky, try to tell me where its blocky so i can fix it...

Blockyness is simply when you can see with your eyes a demarcation between 2 square of terrain. For example, look at the bottom of the right pillar. More precisely at the left of its trunk, you should see the line ;)

I kind of agree cause the space one is just a sprited mess. The new bridge looks better but is still really simple and the ramps are lots of repetition. If anything, only put the ramps in. Tempz, try to use more tilework, less sprite work next time. Also, try to incoorperate more layers (ie grass, dirt, highdirt, jungle, water, temple) instead of just one or two. I completely agree with this.

Okay, final decision: Bridge and ramps go in, although I would love to see perhaps more terrain clutter than doodad clutter on the ramp one.

The basic transition from one block to another is pointed out here. It shows where the blocks do not blend together. Even though sprites are covering many thingys, we are still able to see the blockyness behind it.

I do agree with you on some parts of this but your just nit picking since the bridge (bottom right) is not really a big deal anyways thanks i guess =p....

Edit : also top right volcano is blocky why 0.o?
