I don't know... The observer sounds great but The Staredit Network Observer does not. It takes too long to say, and it does not sound good you need a title with like 4 or less syllables, that has 9 in them its just too much you never see a title like that! NEW-YORK TIMES thats only 3..... TEEN = 1 do i need to go on... SEVENTEEN = 2 you don't see titles with alot of syllables period. No the Observer is a good title but its already been taken. On the other note Untitled Scenario sounds bad too, it is also too long. I was the photo/editor at my highschool ><!

I Liked "Untitled Scenarios" so I voted for it
but The Observer is good too... and it's a bit more obvious on what we're gonna talk about
(however... Untitled Scenario would've been more original

As a homage to the once most popular modding tool and a classic patch loader that unlocked the oldest map makers to advanced features of the Campaign Editor, the SEN map making magazine should be named
StarDraftReasons for StarDraft:- Immediately connotates StarCraft
- The word "draft" implies a developing work, and also rhymes with StarCraft (probably the best reason Camelot Systems named it)
- An established name in StarCraft modding
and map making, thereby bridging the two communities
- Though famous,
StarDraft is not too famous that it interferes with the magazine as they are very separate entities, and StarDraft is an old program so newer map makers would not have any confusion
- Short and memorable!
Reasons against others:"The Observer" is too formal and--as others have said--connotates a secular newspaper that might makes readers assume it is
boring"Untitled Scenario" is neat, but may be too esoteric (I thought of a Word document at first), it also too long to pronounce
The project may be called either
StarDraft or
StarDraft Magazine for distinguishment.
How about it?

SEVENTEEN = 2I was under the impression that seventeen had 3 syllables.
LOL MAH BAD! ^_^ Im at work right now and all i do is fix computers all day so my brain some times goes BLEH!
But really i use to be an editor, and in my opinion they both suck because of that very reason your just suppose to get to the point. Same with all head lines (Titles) They should be all short and jolly.

Drant to the rescue! I like StarDraft a lot. I wonder how feasible that would be...?

I agree StarDraft is the best i have heard. I would vote for StarDraft!

I change my vote from The Observer to StarDraft.
None.
I greatly underestimated this part of the zine.

Personally, I'd recommend
not using any names that are fairly well-known as something else, to avoid confusion. StarDraft, as a modder, makes me think of the original modding tool. Newer people could then be confused when a modder refers to StarDraft and is refering to the modding tool instead of this magazine feature. Plus, "Draft" gives the impression of something unfinished.
Observer is an SC unit, and it's also the spectator position on UMS maps. Again, possible confusion there.
Go with a unique name that you have more control over with developing its meaning. The Star prefix would be appropriate, given this is StarEdit.Net.
Starzine
StarEdit Journal
StarEdit Tribune
StarEdit Digest
StarEdit Monthly
SEN Weekly
The StarEdit Review
SC Gamer
SC Illustrated
StarTimes
Rolling Mineral
Starboy
StarEdit can be replaced with SEN or SC, and vice versa, so plenty of variants possible.

Lol I thought of a really stupid one..
Vespene Extractor...
Bleh..
I'm trying to think of one... something to do with a unit on SC would be best
...
But "The Observer".. as Drant said.. was too formal and obvious.
One thing I dislike about StarDraft is that it is very plain.
Yes it tells you what it is about. Yes it is a direct reference to Starcraft.
But if I was a random person, I wouldn't see "StarDraft" as anything significant and probably skip it. That is.. unless I'm vaguely interested.
The thing is... it isn't very creative. Not that the name won't work, but it's just that I'd wish there'd be something better. Something that jumps at you, something that catches people's eyes, and something that would make a person say "That's a really smart/funny/interesting name for a SC magazine"... StarDraft definately does NOT do that.
well I'm gonna do a brainstorm session here
The Mineral Fields
The Eye of the Overmind
SEN Advisory
The SC Probe..
SEN Dominion
Starcraft in Space
okay okay lemme think about sm names that would actually be acceptable (altho The Eye of the Overmind's awesome
)
The Swarm of SEN: gathering of the Starcraft articles
Starcraft Report ugh...
Hydralisks'/Ultralisks' Den/Cavern
The SEN Templars
Ugh the Best is still "The Eye of the Overmind" I think that's cool
None.
Stardraft is far too plain. Urine has a good point, with a name a dull as that I probably would never bother looking at it.
None.
Command Center Weekly? Just a thought.
None.
Templar Archives is a pretty good one
I still like "The Eye of the Overmind" .. however the cons with that is the name's too long.. and it doesn't really signify a magazine...
So if I were to choose.. I'd choose Templar Archives.
