I am very interested in creating my own MMO. Anyone have any tips? Not technical stuff, design stuff. Currently, it uses a combination FPS interface for most things, and an RTS-esque interface for things like managing summoned units. It is possible to play entirely on one interface (Scientist and Medic classes probably won't ever use the FPS interface, most other classes besides engineer probably won't ever use the RTS interface) or to switch between them (Engineer class will do this a lot). The goal of the game is to hold off an ever-growing zombie hoard as long as possible along with your fellow players.

I finally got my Paly geared to tank and dual-spec as healing. This complete change in play-style (coming from an Elemental Shaman) has somehow managed to revitalize my love for WoW. So I'm right there with ya.
Currently Working On: My Overwatch addiction.
My dual spec on my paladin is; Prot / Ret ; on my shaman it is; Elem / Enh.
Shamans next patch 3.2 get one CD for all totems to be placed at once which should make them easyer to use and less time placing a totem n more time pew pew or slapping ppl in melee.
I never did like healing on my paladin.
Btw DM ya never said what the mmorpg is -_- or about too lazy go to that site.

I never did like healing on my paladin.
Elem/Resto on one, Prot/Holy on the other. I prefer healing on my Paladin over my Shaman, but I've been too lazy to start collecting Enhance gear, so I just leave it be for now.
I'm actually really looking forward to the upcoming changes for both classes. And since I haven't been able to raid in a while, it'll be nice to get Conquest gear for doing heroics (though that completely sucks for everyone else).
