Im having a problem with a sniper game. When you die, your supposed to respawn at a location and its always like that so its not like you only respawn 3 times like lives, can anyone help me to teach me how to do that? :omfg:

Here's a simple, effective way to do it:
Code
Conditions:
Current player COMMANDS at most 0 [sniper]

Actions:
CREATE 1 sniper for current player at [location of your choosing]
Preserve Trigger

This is assuming each player only has 1 sniper in play at once (excepting if it is dead, in which case you must have 0).
If this is not the case, there is another slightly more difficult way to do it (but still way easy).

Thanks but i got another problem. The computers have the set alliance status but they still atk you and the units wont stay there.

Edit: The snipers still seem to be mass spawning. The harder way?

Conditions:
Current player suffers at least 1 death of Sniper.

Actions:
CREATE 1 sniper for current player at [location of your choosing]
Set deaths for current player: subtract 1 for Sniper.
Preserve Trigger

both of those work but it just keeps on spawning. Like some mass game or something. Its supposed to spawn only one.

Both my way and the harder way FTS posted should work. Post your respawn trigger, exactly, and we'll see what you're doing wrong.

Conditions:
Current Player has suffered at least 1 deaths of any unit

Actions:
Create 1 Default Sniper at Respawn for Current Player
Preserve Trigger
Comment: Respawn

Edit: Oh i think he edited and i forget a line.

Yup, just add the "subtract 1 death for sniper" and you should be good to go. Actually if you want to do the "at least 1 deaths of any unit" you're going to want to "subtract 1 death for any unit."

Keep in mind that if you're going to do the "at least 1 death of any unit," it will glitch if ANY other unit of that player dies.

As for the set alliance problem, make sure that you have a trigger where the computer is the player selected under "players," and the action is to "set alliance status for Force [actual players] - set to Ally."

You can use buildings or units set off in a corner to keep track of lives.

Win by luck, lose by skill.
