Hello,
i wana insert Campaign .wav into an map as virtual file like you can do with the Unit sounds in Scmdraft. Basicly it should be possible and im fairly sure that it was possible once. Hope u can help
btw. theres a easy way to decode chk?
None.
I know that it
should be possible, however, so many people are using compressed MPQs and such that have all the campaign files removed that you might cause a lot of problems if you try to use that online.. I'm not sure what would happen if you tried to play a file that someone didn't have.
None.
Hmm true, but it would be easy to test if i would know how to insert them
If i post already such usefull sentences
i guess i can ask one more thing: which Player owns a "Recall sprite/unit" and is it affectably by triggers "condition: any unit"?

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

You cannot center a location on a recall (only dwebs and swarm (both belong to p12/neutral)) or just detect it directly.
yes, campaign wavs are useable.
Syntax example is "campaign\\expprotoss\\protoss02\\staredit\\wav\\P2M10PDT.wav"
Open up the campaign to see where they are, and how to refer to the sound file. Brood War sounds work on brood war, but I don't know if starcraft sounds will work. They didn't before the no cd patch, but perhaps now they will.
Use Starforge. I don't know how to do it on scmdraft.
@falk. Pretty sure the file just doesn't play.

Thanks for your help Guys!
Unfortunaly its an Starcraft sound who forced me to ask this Question. My problem is that i even cant find the Starcraft Campaign sounds in the MPQs. I only found them in the Install.exe on the Starcraft Compact-Disk. The Broodwar campaigns are in Broowar.mpq but where the Starcraft ones? I search yesterday a few times but nothing
Also if anything known about decoding .chk please inform me - its required for a mapping tool.
None.
starcraft.mpq (renamed from install.exe). Not everyone will have this, I'm sure, but whatever. We're in the terabyte drives now, and there's little reason to not have all the SC files on there anymore.
look up "scenario.chk format" in the wiki.
