Alos, about the dropship not being strong, the main problem with it is its speed. many heroes can simply run away and micro it just outside its blast radius since the dropship is kinda slow in itself. it might actually be a better idea to create a super actual carpet bomber that you can send to an area, and it blows up multiple times with multiple stuns like an ACTUAL carpet bomber, so any other heroes who enter the area are also stunned for the duration of the spell.
I also like unholy's fb idea for the bombs.
And what d you think about the summoning of a helper for him for his l4, or multiples, like reinforcements? It sounded like a really good idea when I typed it at least...

Your carpet bomb idea wouldn't be hard to trigger at all, He'd just have to Center a location on the spell effect area, and set a DC that decreases until 0 which will be the end of the spell effect. Then set it up so that any hero that enters the location and doesn't have the stun effect on them, get's their stun DC set to X amount of counts. I've used this set up for a lot of spells in one of my maps.

Maybe you could change the terran dropship for protoss shuttle with speed upgrade?IDK. Or, have the 8 fbats, then to help catch the other players, spawn some other units like Psi Emitters to hold them in place, tho thats not really fitting in with the whole thing. Would be cool tho...

I finally experienced the Volt's instant-ending L2 bug. Apparently Volt has some bugs that I have to figure out. Other than that, 1.4M7 is ready to go:

Sniper Rifle's damage only has an increase by a maximum of 90 damage with 20 upgrades. I don't know how much stronger you wanted to make the spell, but only an increase of 90 damage over 20 upgrades seems a bit weak for a spell that was intended to make more powerful.

I do hope you meant 3(20 * [9 - 8] + [85 - 75]) = 3(20 + 10) = 3(30) = 90. I will assume that you did, in which case you are correct. The increase would be 90. In my previous post I incorrectly and accidently disregarded the word "increase".
I feel that the change is sufficent for now. If the spell is still not powerful enough, it can be increased again.

Personally, I keep looking at it and thinking it's underpowered, but then I remember that the drone for l2 is well, his l2, and I think they balance out. Especially since his l2 is a good end to many a lm.

The increase is also worth it considering it makes the spec. ops. invincible for the duration of the spell... 570 dmg might not seem like much, but i personally use it a lot for its invinceability as opposed to using it for dmg.

Kinda like a super ranged LM L1 amirite? Dont see too many people doing that because they end up dieing before they can get the mana to spam L3 like that.

The spell is unique and pretty fitting and useful, but I just don't think it fits what Spec Ops should play like. I'd rather see it in more of a form of a trap. Like your ops is positioned somewhere waiting for the enemy to cross by. Instead it is used as a dodge in the middle of a fight.

spider mines like the lurk uses in 1.5 given to player 12 :\ make and then give the player some kind of trigger to blow them thru use of a morphing thing muta into guardian perhaps idk or tank sieging honestly idk.
