What really sparked my anger was that he had no clue what he was talking about. He didn't know what a string was. He talked about editing the "Unit Layer" which I had no idea what that meant (maybe changing unit names?) and kept blabbering bullshit that he made up. Through this, he consistently called me an idiot and told me I knew nothing about mapping (Even though I'm sure, is untrue). He said that the map was intended for only the FH clan, yet he hosted it in public (very illogical). All of my questioning eventually caused him to ban me, calling me annoying (I probably was, though )

He's a disgrace to mapping.

Well yoshi first of all the unit layer is part of the GUI system (like location layers) that is used to isolate things (like units, terrain, or sprites). When you want to click on a sprite you have to go to the sprite layer to do so. It has absolutely no use in-game. Basically it is that little drop down box that says units, sprites, terrain, locations, etc. This only makes it more confusing why he would refer to that (it is rather intuitive after all). It is apparent he doesn't know shit about mapping.

I started playing TS yesterday. I'm planning a map similar to it that will push the hero genre further and expand its horizons in a different direction (I'll post it up in my map production thread when I have a rough draft of terrain ready). I'm very dismayed that FH would steal the map. I played wally twice already and he seemed like a pretty cool guy. Stealing other people's maps is just not cool. I support open source mapping, but I don't support map stealing.

I host a lot of TS games, so I'll start spreading 8M around for ya'.

my bro had been playing with wally and That piegod guy the other day. They are both extremely good players, and my bro and them were kicking butt... They werent douchebags at all or ne thing either, they were actually really fun.

I would say that we should just stage a rebellion against this version. If anyone sees it, run away from their games, and spread the word over b-net as much as possible.

I'll inform my brother of this as well. He's gotten to know them pretty well, and might be able to talk some sense into them.

on that note, if you read what CAFG said, if wally commissioned a guy in FH to do something, that's 2 members of FH; if your clan doesn't stand behind member actions your clan is trash.
