im trying to make a bound with a one location static grid, but every time i give the burrowed zerglings to a new player they all unburrow, which i dont want to happen. all of the players have burrow researched so that isnt the problem. is there a reason why they are all unburrowing? or if they always do that... any help with a better way to do the bound?

Try giving the zerglings to a neutral player like players 9-12.

This happened to me before. It would be solved, like samsizzle said, if the units were given to an extended player instead of a computer.

When you give a unit to another player, or issue a command, the zergling unburrows.

Note:
When you give units from one player that DOES have a technology researched to a player that DOES NOT have the technology researched, the technology is automatically researched for free.

(Your Map and any Macro/Micro map is a good example of that.)

The same does NOT go for upgrades.

Unless the technology is disabled for that player. In that case, you can spawn something burrowed for a player that does have it enabled, and give it to a player that has it disabled, and he will not be able to unburrow the unit. I use this fact in my map, and am quite sure of its accuracy. It should work for you too.

Yeah, but with burrow it's a bit screwy, because computers can still unburrow, with or without the tech.

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- below the minimap should be a thing that says "Overlay Settings" with a little + button in the corner, press the + to expand it, uncheck Use Defaults, then change "Tile Overlay" to "Height"

Sylph-Of-Space -- It would be so so so nice if SCMDraft had some kind of dedicated "walkability" view for the tilesets.
