hi
is there a way to make a anti-mind control trigger? i am planning to make a RPG map for SC and i will need heroes. i found tutorials for 'pick up a hero' and xp and lvling systems but i don't know how to protect heroes from Mind Control of Dark Archon.
please help :-(

Mind Controlling Player (<- a player that can mind control the heroes) commands at least 1 Hero.

Give All Hero owned by Mind Controlling Player at Anywhere to Hero Player. (<- player that owns the hero)

you could have a location (a little more then the range of MC) and do a trigger that makes the energy 0 when a hero is near.

You should be more specific with your questions next time. Which player do you want to prevent from mind controlling?
If it is a computer, you can give back to a specific player with death counters.
Let's say a player picks a Marine. Then you would create an action to set a certain death of a unit to a certain number.
If that player then suffers 0 death of the Marine but commands 0, you can make a trigger with a condition "Player X commands 0 Marines" & "Player X has suffered 1 death of (Let's say Cantina)" | Actions : "Give all marines owned by Computer to Player X".

Trigger
Players

  • Player 1
  • Conditions

  • Player 1 commands at least 1 Marine
  • Actions

  • Modify death counterfor Current Player : Set 1 to Cantina
  • Preserve Trigger.

    [PLAYERS]
    [*]Player 1

    force 1 = 3 human players
    force 2 = cumputer oplayer
    force 3 = 3 human players
    force 4 = cumputer player

    one of force 3 have a dark archon and i want a darck archon to mind control only force 2's units

    Are they in a certain location and rooted there? If not, one of the options you have is to "Modify energy to 0" when "Force 2 brings at least 1 unit to Location where Force 3 is at".

    But yeah, the trigger I explained above can still do it. Computers can go with death counters too. You just have to specify the condition more.
