If you explain what wait 1 means, then sure, but this doesn't tell me anything as to why my brood doesn't have exactly 15 fpa.
Wait 1 = 1/10 of a second ~=~ 1.5 cooldown.
None.
That makes even less sense.
A broodling attacks a unit ->
Frame 1 7
Frame 2 7
Frame 3 8
Frame 4 9 Cooldown 15
Frame 5 9 14
Frame 6 10 13
Frame 7 11 12
Frame 8 11 11
Frame 9 11 10
Frame 10 11 9
Frame 11 11 8
Frame 12 11 7
Frame 13 11 6
Frame 14 11 5
Frame 15 11 4
Frame 16 11 3
Frame 17 11 2
Frame 18 11 1
Frame 19 11 Goto wherever repeat goes.
That means one attack would take 18-19 frames. If it's wait 1 frame, it's still 17-18 frames.
"Parliamentary inquiry, Mr. Chairman - do we have to call the Gentleman a gentleman if he's not one?"
The broodling only has wait 4 in the attack script, plus the cooldown. There, done, simple.
15+wait(4)=15.57?
Looking at the cooldown timer in game yields some interesting results. The cooldown ranges from cooldown-1 to cooldown +2, yielding an average attack of cooldown + .5. I believe stimmed rines have a cooldown of 7, but there's something finicky with the iscript which makes them not attack again, and I think they go through a 3 frame delay every so often, which pushes it up again.
