best way to make computer defend?

im trying to make a computer player that gets attacked by another player. i want the computer player to respond by bringing all of its units up to defend. i dont know wat method i should use. i cant use an order units trigger, because they could be getting attacked on one of multiple fronts, and i dont want to just move every single unit to the same front. and i dont want to do random suicide missions because then once the defense is done they would just run off into the enemy's base doing a suicide. the computer has no command center and no scv's so would i be able to do some type of ai in which they will defend their respond to attacks but nothing else? maybe value this area higher or set generic command target? (im not exactly sure which either of those does)

a screen shot or map to look at might be helpful ;o
but the way you described it, issue order or value area higher AI script would be best imo
or preplace.

I might be able to help you here, but to really give you the best set of triggers for what your scenario calls for, I need to know more information about the map. How many fronts are there? Are they on opposite sides of the base? Is the other player (that is attacking the computer) a human or a computer? Is that computer being programmed by you to attack in specific ways, or is it kicking off of an AI script?

From what I've read so far, an Insane Terran Computer probably wouldn't be so bad.. and since it doesn't have SCVs or a Command center, it's cheating tendancies would probably be significantly cut down.

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- below the minimap should be a thing that says "Overlay Settings" with a little + button in the corner, press the + to expand it, uncheck Use Defaults, then change "Tile Overlay" to "Height"

Sylph-Of-Space -- It would be so so so nice if SCMDraft had some kind of dedicated "walkability" view for the tilesets.
