I would like to add to the challenge, a staircase on a bridge. This is the best I have, can anyone beat me?

Meh. I'm almost positive it can be done better, but I cannot find how...

You just didn't use sprites... It needs it in the same places as mine except the back, where you sacrificed the bridge feel for standard blending, which is ok. Can you make it more bridge-like?

EDIT:
This is an elaboration of yoshi's mess :P

Ugh, cmon jello, You can do better than that shit. I know you can.
I'll try to make mine more bridgey.

EDIT: As much as I dislike sprites, I feel this is going to be extremely hard to make non blocky without them or height problems. In the end I think sprites are better than a massive height problem.

It seems like the great compromise: more bridge = less smooth, more smooth = less bridge. Gotta find that happy middle.

Sprite abuse... The point is to try to find blends to lessen the sprites. Anyone can throw the tiles over and use heavy sprite cover.

I dug up this staircase alteration and modified it to fit the needs. I think it looks quite nice :)

(4 sprites, 2 aren't 100% necessary)

Very different than the one I remember from before, but a little blocky. See if you can find nicer tiles.

It's because I used the bridges (doodads) tiles. So it was a bit hard to belnd

I don't see any bridge tiles or any bridge doodads... All I see are cliff face tiles, cliff endings, and cave tiles???

He's talking about his bridge staircase, not the Deku Tree.

Good call.

Well in that case, I also used some of the bridge tiles, but you have to blend, you can't just slop them on there.
