I thought players could use Junkyard Dog, but I heard that players can't use any AI scripts (besides ones like enter bunker/transport)
I wanted to make a directed damage system with scarabs controlled by players so that they could upgrade damage and get kills. Is there any way to have player owned scarabs cause damage in any way, without the direct use of reavers nearby.
Has anyone tried disabling/enabling scarabs? Or do player owned scarabs simply just fly to the corners of the map for their imminent doom?
None.

I think I already mentioned this in your other topic. You can give the shooting reaver to the player after you moved and applied the AI on the scarab.
Point and note players can use the ai 'run junkyard dog'.
source:ive done it multiple times in experimental maps?
None.
I have tried giving the reavers, right when the scarabs warp in. The players had the same enemy targets the computers did. The player controlled scarabs just flew to the edge of the arena.
If it should work, then I might have to just mess around with the time order and length of giving and moving.
Also, how do you apply JYD to players? The units I applied JYD to just sat there.
None.
