A "vampire" found in Venice

Discuss.

I think its rather interesting, I studied the picture for a while and it seems like the jaw would be longer than a normal human, even if it wasn't out of socket. I've always kind of believed that most 'myths' have at least some form of truth to them in one way or another so I honestly wouldn't doubt if there were Vampires in existence not too long ago.. I saw an article on a website about how they found some temple ruins in Cambodia that had carvings of dinosaur-like objects and kind of seemed like a stegosaurus without the plates on its back..

I also find this interesting and believe it to be true because of a fellow species of our genus died out in Indonesia not too many hundreds of years ago (Homo Floresiensis).. So taking a look at the fact we didn't discover Homo Floresiensis until 2003/4, I look at that with the idea: "What if these myths are really true because if we just recently discovered a new species of ourselves.. What else is out there that we haven't found?"

So what if per say, La Chupacabre really exists and is not a myth?

What if "Cryptozoology" is real?

None.

We live in a society.

[name removed] states this post needs to be dealt with: This does not really seem like something for the serious discussion. Would be better in place in the Null. There is no intelligent or debatable topic presented..
Please update your topic post accordingly or the topic will be moved to Null.

Uh, I presented my point of view/argument:

What else is out there that we haven't found?"

And how is there no intelligent or debatable topic presented? Do I seriously have to state it in certain ways, like this or something:

"Archaeologists have found remains of a 'vampire' in a mass grave site in Venice. What are your thoughts on this?"

or

"There has been a recent finding of 'vampire' remains in Venice when Archaeologists found a brick shoved into the jaw of a 'female vampire' in a mass grave site there".

I'm not going to paraphrase the article because people are too lazy to click on A "vampire" found in Venice and read through the topic to get some information so they can present their opinions in an intelligent way. I got a PM from Shocko telling me to 'link the species of human' we've found, and i did that. Here, I'll do it again: Homo Floresiensis just for 'the sake'. He tried telling me I need to go 'edit' how I 'worded' the last sentance. Why do I need to change a phrase I've typed? I asked a simple question that can have many simple answers.

Seriously, what 'needs to be changed' to make this a "SD worthy" topic? I've seen way worse created posts in SD that have stayed, what makes mine so 'unintelligent' and 'un-SD worthy'??

I've given my point of view. I've given the topic of choice to be discussed. What else is there that 'needs' to be done that I 'must not be doing correctly' as compared to other SD topics?

And now this is all off-topic because it seems like people decided to report me because I'm not going to take the time to paraphrase the article for them.

Sooooooooooooooooooooo, again I state:

What if "Cryptozoology" is real?

Here, i'll even add something for you all:

Do you think that with this recent 'discovery', Cryptozoology has ground to stand on now besides 'sightings' and the like?

None.

1). Your "point of view/argument" consists of "I think it's rather interesting." No one can refute this, because it is soley your opinion, and not debatable. I can't tell you that you don't find it interesting, I would simply be wrong! (Unless of course you're lying, or trying to cover up the fact that you don't find it interesting, but well, that seems extremely unlikely considering you're the person who made the topic).
2). There is nothing to have a serious discussion about. What kind of posts do you think you're going to get from this? "I think vampires are cool!" Or "They do exist, I saw one!!" You know?
3).

None of these present a stance on an issue for debate either.

If you want to change this into an SD worthy topic, which can be done in my opinion, you need to change this from a "I find this interesting because" to a "In my opinion, the archaological evidence A, B, and C, clearly shows that the subject has properties X, Y, and Z, which indicates that vampires are, or were, real." If you can't pull something along those lines, it's getting moved to null.

Edit: I just read the article you linked to, and nothing in it suggests any kind of reasonable support for the existence of vampires. It's just referring to what medieval folks thought were vampires and the rituals of removing the shroud from their mouths and replacing them with bricks. Because of this, there really isn't any way that you can make this into an SD topic. Moved.

Did you even read the article?

It's just a normal human with a brick in its mouth. It isn't even extraordinary by human standards.

None.

This.

If you wanted to discuss vampirism or things of that nature I'm pretty well versed on the subject as my autobio in the writing section located here attests.

Interview with a vampire was good. I also liked some 1980's movie with a motorcycle gang, and some kid in a comic store knowing the truth.
