Let me show you how to hump without making love.

Bioshock movie ftw. And Silent Hill was great, I feel it really did capture the game. Not to mention it had me smile on multiple occasions >:D

Making movies out of games seems like a bad idea.

I mean, most movie-to-game ports suck; why would it be any better in reverse?

I'm kind of interested in how the Bioshock movie will turn out. Should be interesting to see.
With any luck, better than the garbage the game was.

It's because of the way they are written, games have too much action and not enough social time for movies while movies have exactly the opposite.

Which new MK movie? Robin Shou (Liu Kang in the first 2) said they weren't doing a third. IMDB (which is a terrible source) used to have it in pre-production with a 2008 release, now it's in pre-production with a 2010 release. If it's like the first one and nothing like the second, I'd love to see it.

I can't remember where I heard they were making a new one.

They were both kinda bad movies, but I liked the first.

EDIT: There's this: http://mk3movie.mortalkombatonline.com/wp/

And you'll be seeing Gambit soon enough in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. :D.
...More importantly, DEADPOOL. Doesn't anyone care for him? If 4chon was a being it would be deadpool.

I heard ryan renolds is going to be deadpool soz...

I would say if they made a complete movie showing everything in Zelda: Twilight Princess, without a micheal jackson looking link, that would be the most epic movie ever. (I say this because I just beat the game in 56 hours 38 minutes, which is two days)

I'd be interested to see a starcraft movie.

I think Turok should be a movie...it's already got a good story line. The original Turok, mind you.

Halo movie would have me there no matter what I hear about it. GoW* will too. Maybe GoW**. I loved SilentHill. RE movies were okay with a bowl of KD. SC movie is a no go. Diablo movies would just be great!

* Gears of War.
**God of War

I''d kill to see a starcraft movie. A movie on the big screen would give justice to Tassadar's death, justice that crappy old 1998 graphics couldn't depict.

The joker? Roark junior? Do you guys even know who deadpool is?

ffs >:l

I know exactly who deadpool is but what does that have to do with what I said? ffs

StarCraft is one of the very, very few games with a detailed enough storyline to make for a good movie.

This. I still think the sequential movement in the game would make for a bad story though...

They're doing a WarCraft movie, so I don't think a StarCraft one is too far fetched.
