Map Night description.

"To particpate, simply join channel op SEN on useast.
Time: Thursday, 12 am to 12 am (but there's always people who start early and stay late ^^)
Make and join games and have fun."

I read SOMEWHERE it was Friday though. Why do you lock posts?

I've also missed this one, I think. Can't remember if it were here or some other place though. Anyway, it may still prove useful.

We live in a society.

It is Friday. It says so on the portal and that is what I was judging by. Since you neglected to specify where you obtained this information in your original topic, I considered it well within my rights to lock it (which makes the incorrect assumption that I require a right to lock anything) as I believed your claim was false. I apologize for locking your topic, but I am not the only one in error.

We live in a society.

There isn't, because you can just edit your post to "lol delete me" anyway.

Seriously, though, a Delete button could be helpful. Like edits, it wouldn't be a perma-delete. Instead it could still be visible to mods for inspection should the need arise (like with the edit history). Sure, people can edit with "delete me", but allowing us to do that ourselves means less tedious micromanagement for the mod staff. Or would you rather dab the corner of my mouth with your spit-covered napkin?

We used to have the ability to delete our own posts, and I think it was beneficial.

Maybe the new delete should be "lol delete me" followed up by reporting your own post as "lol delete me"
Scrap that you cannot report your own post...

lol delete me

same statement...
you should be able to only delete your own posts, for reasons like
if you post something which was already said
if you had connection problems and "spamed", even if you didn't want to
and maybe other reasons....

well... don't think that the forum moderators have nothing to do if you were able to do so...
they can delete every post, lock topics, and even steal our minerals :P

Please report errors in the Staredit.Network forum.

Ultraviolet -- Inf, we've got a job for you. ASUS has been very naughty and we need our lil guy to go do their mom's to teach them if they fuck around, they gon' find out

UndeadStar -- I wonder if that's what happened to me. A returned product (screen) was "officially lost" for a while before being found and refunded. Maybe it would have remained "lost" if I didn't communicate?

NudeRaider -- PSA: ASUS apparently decided their RMA department needs to "become profitable" and for a while now outright tries to scam customers. They were called out on it a year ago, promised to change, but didn't. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pMrssIrKcY so my recommendation: Stop buying ASUS, and if you already have and need something RMA'd, make sure to not let them bully you into paying.
