Just thought I'd show this. It's probably the closest I've seen to a blockless badlands building, except perhaps some of roryfenrir's stuff. I know the front isn't truly non-blocky, but I liked the way it looked even though I probably could have found a better way to do it.

Looks real good, except that your windows look like they're more straight than isometrical.

Yeah, the idea is that the windows are triangularly placed, so the building is straight but the windows go /\ out from the building.

One thing I noticed is that most of the blockiness seems to be the bottom few tiles of every column, except for the ones over the storefront doodad-thing. I'm not sure if there's a better fix for this or what though.

Fairly blocky, no offense, which was what I was trying to get past with my one. Badlands buildings are notorious for being blocky.

Rory's stuff isn't known fro being unblocky. His buildings are as blocky as anyone elses and the ones in the tsa trailer. Btw, one fix for the bottom blockiness: put store fronts all the way around.

It's just mirror effect. The tile you use, looks the best when used in the 3-tile-stack method. Like this.

Nice pic, but I was going for a non-blocky approach, and that one is pretty blocky, even though it looks good.

Well you can mirror any tile and it wont look blocky, but suit yourself.
