Heinermann already knows this, but I completely screwed up one of my maps recently. I worked about six hours on it, got a lot of terrain and unit placement and unit settings and stuff done, and then I went to alpha test it.
It crashed SC.
I couldn't figure out why, so I sent Heinermann a PM with the error report. Turns out I got the size wrong. I made it 196x128, when it should have been 192x128. Now I'm stuck. I don't want to lose all the work that I've done, but SCMDraft chops off four entire grid squares from the eastern end when I resize it, and those four squares are important. It's a symmetrical AoS, and I don't want to have to redo all my terrain work. Restarting the map is almost out of the question; I had over 50 locations and 300 units placed already, not to mention unit and upgrade settings. Is there any way to take off 2 grid squares from each side? That would fix my problem for the most part.
If you suggest StarForge, you'll have to let me know where to get the... nevermind, it's running properly... wow, that's weird. Every time I've tried starting SF before, it tells me it needs some files to run... and all of a sudden it's working... well, whatever. Someone let me know how I can resize it properly?

None.
Why not cut the middle four tiles?
None.
First - How do I do that?
Second - That would bring the Left and Right bunkers in range of each other. Not really an option.
Edit - Well, it's definitely more of an option than the options I seem to have at the moment. It would be a lot easier to do that than redo the entire map.

None.
Copy the left half minus the two tiles to the right side and copy the right half minus the two tiles on the left side and paste the two next to each other. When copying and pasting, it would be easier to just use a blank map then copy and paste it back in.

No, I'm afraid that won't work, unless StarForge can copy the units along with the terrain.

SCM draft can copy+paste units.
None.
Scmdraft can. Instead of terrain go to copy\cut\paste\brush and check everything.

I feel like an idiot at the moment. And, at the same time, I feel like kissing your feet.

You can if you want, or you can just write my triggers for me.
