So umm when i was makin a map i open it with starforge then the scmdraft again and now it thinks its protected... when i try to unprotect it, it says cannot not proper starcraft file...
None.
Did you save with StarForge, and if you did, did you select Staredit Compatible, or Final Release? FInally, what unprotector are you trying to do it with?
None.
cannot not proper starcraft file...
lol.
This is why you make many backups, and never protect your maps. There's only a few things starforge does better than SCMDraft, and those things are rapidly disappearing. Falk's site has a whole bunch of utilities you might try, so look there.

When saving in SF, be sure to not save as Final edition.. that means you're finished w/ map and SF will protect it... Unfortunately it doesn't noe how to unprotect itself.

Yeah, StarForge is actually the only editor able to work with maps unprotected after being compressed by TinyMap2, just a bit unstable, unfortunately

Have you ever tried placing minerals/gas for a player other than P12?
