SEN Survivor is back
and we are now taking names for admission. In the past, mineral rewards were offered. In exchange, in order to enroll you paid 20 minerals. But since those no longer matter, there will be no reward unless someone feels compelled to "donate" something to the cause. (Sig/Av request, Mapping assistance, Homework help, platonic shoulder to cry on, etc.) So, onto
The Rules- We need a minimum of 14 people to enroll, with a maximum of 20. That will make two teams of 7-10 people.
- Every Tuesday at 3:00PM MST, there will be trivia or another "challenge" posted. Trivia and challenge can be on any topic. Put your best foot forward: the team who wins the "challenge" gains immunity, and no one can be voted off that week.
- If no team 'wins' the challenge in the two days, the audience will choose who will be placed on the chopping block, through unconventional measures like asking the shoutbox.
- The following Thursday morning, a poll will open up. This poll will have the losing team's members listed. Vote for the person who you want off the team. This poll will close Sunday night, at 11:00PM MST.
- Anyone can vote. Why? Because its more interesting that way.
- Tribes will be chosen using a random pattern. Tribes will have the ability to choose their own name.
- Alliances and backstabbing are not only permitted, they are encouraged.
- Foul play may be determined, and votes will be thrown. Foul play can be defined as anything that helps you win that breaks SENs rules (ie creating multiple accounts to vote for someone). It will be announced if there is foul play, and if the person causing it is found, regardless of team, they will be eliminated.
- If someone is perma-banned or withdraws themselves from competition, no one else can be voted off for the week.
If you are interested, post here. Remember, we need at least 14 people to play, and you cannot choose your team. So get your friends involved.
Edit: If no one volunteers, I'll voluntell, starting with anyone who visits this thread. I'm looking at you, Ultimo.

I would join if it wasn't the fact that everyone could vote. I was voted off one time for not being popular enough.
Lingie#3148 on Discord. Lingie, the Fox-Tailed on Steam.
Honestly, I don't foresee people voting who aren't involved. Also, there's no way for me to police who votes for who, unless we do a verbal vote.

In I guess. You can cry on MY shoulder, kame,
Red classic.

ooooo ill join. my chances of surviving are slim.
None.
I'd join but everybody loves me.
None.
Relatively ancient and inactive
I shall enter. And probably be owned. The popular ones get drowned first.

In that case I'll win. In.

Not necessarily. Let's take a short trip down memory lane and see our past winners:
Season 1: Lisk (No prize)
Season 2: FatalException (1500 Minerals)
Season 3: Doodan (3380 Minerals)
Season 4: Voyager7456 (2707 Minerals)
Season 5: Desperado, Merrel, Heegu (4000 Minerals each)
Season 6: N/A
Season 7: Nuderaider, Devilesk, Symmetry, Krayzee (625 Minerals each)
So clearly, the popular are capable of winning (Voy, Doodan), but often the prize goes to whoever wants it the most (Desperado, Lisk, etc).

None.

btw this rule is totally imba

How so? As the "History of Survivor" thread brings up, It would greatly interfere with tribe sizes if we allow someone to be voted off AND take off whoever is perma-banned. The best way to prevent this? Don't do anything stupid to be sent to the void.

Are we allowed to choose our own teams, or are they randomly chosen?

I was referring more to the 'if someone withdraws' part.

Withdraws happen on reality tv shows all the time. And what happens is exactly this: no one finds out who the judges want to kick if the person hadn't withdrawn.
Its not like I can force you to sign a contract for a game. I doubt most of you would qualify to sign a legally binding contract.
Does this mean you're interested?
