Again, agreed. I suppose it won't be as bad actually being there as opposed to reading about being there, but the cultural degeneration visible from way over here, combined with their falling status, unsustainable way life and probable remilitarization (As US gets bored of protecting it, and as China gets stronger) makes Japan seem like a poor choice. Additionally, I don't have the apparently common 'Japanese Schoolgirl' fetish.

Sweden. There's a decent amount of English speakers, a solid education system, and seemingly an intelligent and world conscious government, which would be a nice change.

Canada actually seems like a nice place to live. I enjoy the cold and aren't they like the most pure nation ever? Because they never get in any wars and such. Norway sounds like a good place but i don't really know anything about it.
