When ever I try to open up SCM Draft 0.8.0, I use default or a custom profile and before it opens it gives me the TrigEdit: Something bad happened
It does this everytime unless i continuously create a new profile, and once I'm actually in, I can't click on a location, lay terrain, mess with location options, grid options, mission breifing, triggers don't save and when I try to do it SCM Draft crashes with an error report, I can't place units, or even click on a doodad in the left hand side panel. Help please? Anyone?

Idk what the latest version is. Can you put up a URL? And when will he be back, or, can he fix it?

EDIT: I've heard of an 'installable' version instead of the zip file version. Do any of you know the link to that instead?

That was fixed in like 20 minutes, that was running the backup database stress test ;)

Marine: try the version in the sticky thread, try renaming the backup database, and make sure you have at least SC 1.04 and scmdraft finds stardat.mpq and patch_rt.mpq.

Which thread?

EDIT: this URL http://www.stormcoast-fortress.net/temp/Scmdraft2-setup.rar gave me the "latest" version but I can't install it, my computer asks for a program to to open it...

That's not recent. Go back to the UMS assistance, click on the sticky labeled "Final Call for scmdraft" or similar, and use WinRar to download.

EDIT: removed some harsh comments alluding to lethargy.
In an unrelated note, setting Broodat.mpq as the default .mpq will crash scmdraft. Any reason, SI?

That URL address is the only URL in that post that connects to SCM Draft download.
Wow screw that I'm not buying winRAR for $29. Is there any other program for FREE that i can use?
Nevermind I went online and found a free version of winrar 3.80

Well, after saying that, I looked, and it appears SI's original "Final Call" topic was moved, deleted, abandoned, whatever.
That one was the one I was referring to, my bad.
WinRar will open .rar files.

The majority have a free trial version. Which one was it, the first link?

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

7zip is free and will open rar files, and is actually better/faster. The UI isn't as good IMO. As it stands this looks like it's solved.
