what if you make a zombie game with rpg heros, with spells and abilities, and if you die you become an undead opposite, like if you were a light mage you would turn into a dark mage, ect, ect. and the zombies had spells to.
None.
In my opinion it seems kind of unrealistic, and a dark mage isn't necessarily a zombie, or undead for that matter. Expand on it a bit and you might have something unique, yet fun. I dunno, I can't really imagine a good zombie game without guns and rockets to blow shit up. Also, I think zombies should, primarily, be melee units. I never liked the idea of having zombies with guns, and certainly not as spellcasters. Maybe a boss could have spells?

If I ever release CotD, it will have all those features except the become-zombie-upon-death one. You play as a hero, boost your three attributes which allow you to use better items, use the old items more efficiently, get more HP, use up less ammo and deal more damage. You have basic items like ammo clip and health pack as well as more sophisticated ones, such as scarab bombs and stun grenades. There are special zombies that slow you down when near you (sticky goo!) and possibly zombies that split into two upon death; these are not spells but rather their natural abilities which can be better explained in the story.

ok, i kind agree, what if instead of that i have the survivers be strong, with abilities (not necessarily spells) and make the zombies much stronger as well
also, when i mentioned the dark mage as an example, i wasnt calling dark mages in general undead, i meant that the undead becomes opposite of what it was when it was human.
