Hey guys, I have a question.
I wanted to make the game 2x speed and have it work on battle net.
The old methods no longer work (map revealer p14, and scarab p14 for 4x speed).
I found a method for 2x speed and it works fine on single player, but when you attempt to host it on battle.net it crashes.
I also found other methods that work but it crashes when certain units die on the screen depending on the unit/sprite placed.
Does anyone know of a unit/sprite that will make the game 2x speed and still have it work on battle.net and isn't too limiting on the types of units allowed to be killed in this current patch?

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.
I do not know if it is the x2 speed, but you can increase the game speed:
1.do not use installation tileset
2. place a scarab of p14 on the map as the first unit ever on the map
It works in my test map.
But you can corrupt the effect easily.
I do not know what I did wrong, but I already made the map start to crashing with just deleating some existing units.
I already removed the effect of all units, only the p12 unist had higher speed. It was really weird.
Here is my stable map.
It seems to be random whether it works or not on a map, there are some that are working with the current patch, but when most people try to reproduce the effect, it crashes.

I just got done testing this kind of thing Red and nothing seems to work like the old tutorials are saying they did so this must be the new patches that are messing with us to not allow this kind of thing anymore for as far as we know. If I find something that does this I will let everyone know but for right now I don't know of anything that will allow this to happen anymore...

PLEASE download my map before saying that it was patched.
It is much harder to build a stable map than before.
In my testmaps I only placed some buildings and units and it was stable, if the tileset was not installation.
Notice, that the speed has no effect on the Marine anymore. You should use the 'Devouring One' to test with this effect.

Since there is no hit on my attached map untill now, I would prefer to say that you should test my map before saying that increasing game speed does not work because I did it with the 'p14 scarab' method.

I do not bet that it is random. But it is very unstable. I think it is nearly impssible to create a complex map with the system because it is very easy to corrupt the effect.
After I deleted some units from my testmap it started to crash. And somehow I created the effect for p12 units only. I have that map, if somebody want to see. But there are only small changes to my uploaded map.
