Hey all, im new here!

Lol, anyway, im making a ZA Rpg (Zombie Apocalypse for you zombie-noobs) and I want to make it in a "night" setting, so that you cant see 10 with a ghost. So, the easiest solution, I figured, would be to just have a computer blind each unit it sees. At least, thats what I thought. This is kinda a rough layout of what's going on here.

The main problem is that the Medic wont blind the unit that appears. I would like a solution that would ensure that the Medic would blind any unit that was brought to it. (Picking up a new weapon, moving to "medic" location, get blind, then move back to "player" location.)
- You and 1 ally are "Force 1"
- NPC Survivors are "Force 2", allied with "Force 1" and Un-Allied with "Force 3"
- Zombies and Medic-Player are "Force 3", Un-Allied with everyone but each other
- All players have Optical Flare researched, and it costs 1 Engery
So my question is: Is there a specific trigger that I should use to make the Medic blind the unit that appears, or is there something stupid that im not doing that I should be doing?

I won't lock it due to the complexity of blind, and it's not entirely foolproof all the time. 81 hp is required, but some medics don't like to blind sometimes.

No triggers are really required to make medics blind others.

I have come across this issue. Try have a unit attack the medic to "make it angry". Also make sure the unit you want blinded has at least 81 hp. If you have a unit attack the medic, I can almost guarantee you it will work.

i also will be needing this for an rpg of mine too lol. i was planning to expierment with this until i got the medic to blind me alot. there are some maps where the medics run arround and blind certain targets although i'm not sure quite how u get them to roam and select a target.

I luve the "make them angry" suggestion lol. I too thing this is the most appropriate way to get a medic to blind. My question to add is there a way to detect one a player has been blinded? maybe put them in a box they cant get out of and a unit in range that they will keep killing until they are blinded?

also will it work like say i put 2 comps next to each other and after the unit is blinded give it to the player who needs it?

Yes, the box thing will work. There's EUDs, but that's stupidly difficult.

That is the most reliable way to do it.
From my experience, you should recreate the medic at the moment you need to blind.
If you let the medic sit on the screen, it will try and move to and heal any unit on the map.
This can cause it to ignore units in its vicinity.

and yes, i had them in a box where they couldn't move away.
