Looking for SC2 Map Makers

I would dislike the idea of having DOTA-like maps ruin SC2 custom games. I am looking for people who are interested in developing specific projects for Starcraft 2. As I can't fully guarantee you will be in BETA in the short run, you will have a higher % of getting in SC2 Beta. For more information whisper Woland@useast or go to clan WoL and look for me.

Simple requirements:
Good map-making skills
Mature people

Pluses:
Knowledge of C and/or World Editor are pluses.

Wait a second I remember you now...You're that guy with the spamming bot in op sen...

Also how do we know what or who you are, how do we trust you, hell you havent even gotten an avatar yet. And not to mention, what makes you think you can turn regulars here that were going to lead their own projects, and join you, someone here who isnt a regular.

Edit: Hell this is advertising, good luck with that.

Woland is good at heaven's last stand so I trust him .-.

However I'm not interested in a collaborative project, nor in participating the starcraft II beta.

Relatively ancient and inactive

I am intimately familiar with both the SC editors and the WCIII editors, and can develop semi-advanced, albeit GUI-based, systems for the latter. I also have an awesome personality and I'm the most mature person on this website.

But I shall not put myself under the jurisdiction of someone I have not met, neither will I commit myself to unspecified projects, etc etc.

I guess an Avatar really means a lot to some people, I'll get one if that floats your boat. On another note: Map-making doesn't end in SEN I'm sure you know that. Trust? Believe me I am not here to waste my time trying to harass or something, I am here to hopefully grab good map-makers who have ambitions of their own. I'm pretty sure a map-maker can benefit from another map-maker's help as well as an educated set of testers. My rep? Well you can ask around. My maps get a lot of hosts per day, and both are played competitively by some clans, including but not restricted to KHD, TFH, Aura (aka as 7) and HLD. I've also assisted other map-makers with their projects like Napoleon's Ambition and Desert Strike vQueen. Those are attributed to hbn7890 and Queen-Gambit respectively. In case you are wondering my maps are Heaven's Last Stand series, Helms Deep v Annatar 10.X Series and a few other not so well known unfortunately.

Also despite the fact I don't post I visit this forum a lot since a lot of map-makers have really interesting ideas which I've used in the maps I just stated. You can click on my name, says I joined in 2007 :P

SDE, BWAPI owner, hacker.

There's no such thing as Starcraft II map makers, as the game isn't even in beta.

I guess some people are just as rude in the rest of the internet as they are in game *sigh*

Secrets make me suspicious. Also people who are afraid of having their wonderful ideas stolen, don't actually have any wonderful ideas.

First, if you have any ideas, post them here. No one is going to waste their time to travel to your personal glorification channel just so they can learn about your brilliant ideas for SCII.

Second of all, I'm really not interested. I was somewhat making fun.

That wasn't ignorance. That was my undertsanding of how Blizzard gives out SC2 beta keys. I am almost certain that participating in this will not get you any closer than being randomly chosen in the opt-in process.

If you're so confident in this "higher %," then care to enlighten us as to how aiding you in this venture at all achieves this goal?

Yea and mine said I joined in 2005, when this site wasnt even using this such forum until 2007. Congrats, you found a bug.

Good luck finding more than 5 people here. Its bad enough when we got people coming here thinking Staredit is downloadable rather than coming basic in the client, but your post reaks with lie.

Also, lets get one thing straight, I smell sexy. ;o

Actually I think all the member data for v5 was copied from v4 and prior. So I don't think that's a bug (mine says I joined in '04, which is true).

lol and tell you all I know for free?
I see you have legitimate concerns but if you are not interested or think I'm a liar, troll or any other reason then don't bother posting or this thread could become a flame war which wouldn't be any constructive to anyone. I personally talk to the people who are interested and if they have any "concerns" then if that is the case I am more than happy to address them.

I understand your concerns but I am more than confident in what I'm doing and if I get at least 1 person to join me, this thread would be a success (which already is for that reason).
