He could mean who is thinking what KIND of triangle? some people could say a tetrahedron (3d triangle) has 4 dots and a regular triangle with 3 dots.

You mean a trigonal planar like this?

Couldn't be. He specifically said triangle.

Which is why I said triangle and not spherical triangle or hyperbolic triangle which are not the same thing. Your point?

Yep. Corbo's definitely just messing with us, if that's his only clarification.

Spherical and hyperbolic triangles are still triangles. They're just special >>

I think if you Taylor expand the triangle you get 4 dots

We live in a society.

Given the name of this topic, I find it difficult to believe it is actually about triangles or dots.

I'm in.

Anyway, I've been studying this question for the last 15 seconds and I've come to the conclusion it is 4 dots. Why? because this question doesn't make any fucking sense, and the answer four makes no sense either, so it has to be true. -1x-1=+1 ^^

ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO

Note that I only agreed with him, the answer is not necesarily that one.
I'm going to show you a very interesting kind of "logic" right now:

Quote
Shocko: answer is 4
Carlos Cuchilla: yah
Shocko: Is it really xD
Carlos Cuchilla: Yes.
Shocko: What's your reason? Mine was: A triangle has 3 sides, 3 vertices and is basically all 3. Hense Tri. Thus it must be 4.
Carlos Cuchilla: ..why does it have to be 4?
Carlos Cuchilla: you said only 3
Carlos Cuchilla: you're contradicting yourself
Shocko: Because elsewise there's no mystery to the mysterious question.
Carlos Cuchilla: ...
Carlos Cuchilla: So you're saying they have three verticies
Carlos Cuchilla: and the "tri" tells you it's three
Carlos Cuchilla: and EVERYTHING says that it must be three
Carlos Cuchilla: So your conclusion based on the observation that everything says it's three is that it has to be 4?
Shocko: yarh.

According to devilesk/urine/noob/presidentobama, your logic was something like:

First dot starts the triangle.
Second dot creates a line.
Third dot creates an angle.
Fourth dot finishes the triangle.

... which is the logic used by all noobs of a noob major LOLOLOLOL

There are, irrefutably, three dots. A dot with the same size (infinite or finite) existing in the same space as another dot is one dot. Case closed.

Maybe you guys should realize this is a rediculous question designed to make no sense, therefore it requires a rediculous answer, 11.

But seriously its some kind of reaction test to see if you try to figure it out, get angry, give up, be patient, etc... or what kind of crazy solutions you use to justify your answer. Case closed.
