Etu Nimtsal v2
MUST BE PLAYED ON VERSION 1.15.1 Today my friends, I have for you a gift. And this gift comes in the form of an update. WHAT'S ADDED? I'm glad you asked. I've added one unit to the Terran race. THAT'S IT? I've also added an entire Zerg race. Now, in true Etu Nimtsal style, I've composed this over the weekend. Two days of solid work went into this, so it's probably still buggy/there are probably strings missing/etc. However, also in true Etu Nimtsal style, I've done my best to keep it BALANCED. That's right kids. On to content: ![]() Welcome to the battlefield the Skyrat! It has anti-air capabilities as well as being a powerful support unit with its white goop spell. It is extremely easy to kite, especially once it has slowed its enemies down. Disclaimer: Ex named most of the Zerg stuff. Brace yourselves. ![]() Here we observe a herd of 'Twitchy'. Their claws tear through small units and infantry, but are highly innefective when it comes to high armor. ![]() The 'Shakey Bacon' is a small anti-tank/anti-air unit. That's about all it's got going for itself. ![]() Here we see a group of 'Twitchy' battling with some 'Rapelisks'. Rapelisks are heavily armoured anti-infantry units who specialize in destroying small units like Twitchy. However, they are sadly innefective against airborne and armoured targets. ![]() This is 'Her Royal Majesty'. Its role is to destroy air, and it is very good at its role. ![]() This is 'UR MOM'. Note the immense and almost unbelievable size of the beast. ![]() This is the 'Defiler of Daughters'. Keep your children close, as its psionic storm will *raep* them. Note: Psi Storm is only effective against lightly armoured units. ![]() All hail the 'Floating Heads'. They unleash their 'Penetrators', shitting little blue craps all over their opponents. ![]() Finally, we meet the 'S.S. Vomit', the Floating Head's baby brother. It acts as an anti-infantry support unit when it's not performing auto-fellatio. HEARD ENOUGH? I'm pretty sure you have. Download: http://www.savefile.com/files/2059667 Note: The AI has been completely scrapped for the time being. I'll probably revisit it at some point. Play the mod. Save the replays. Complain about the balance. GL HF DD This post was edited 1 time, last edit by Killer_Kow: Mar 30 2009, 12:16 am. |

Just because the computer can build differently, doesn't mean it has to be rigged. MUAI offers so much flexibility. It will allow you to create anything you want ranging from super insane to very easy. I agree with you that all of the uber insane uses of it have given the concept a bad rap tho. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Just because you didn't see something big and flashy doesn't mean a lot of work didn't go into this. But from someone who's probably never modded in their life I don't expect much. You should really educate yourself before you speak. Learn about iscript for example. You may not see much of it in a screen shot, but it makes a lot of difference in game play.
I'm guessing you also failed to notice the Skyrat GRP. Then again you probably fail in general. I bet if I made a mod that was all fancy GRPs youd be all BEST MOD EVER even if it played exactly like SC, which definitely is not the point of modding. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Is it in you now?

I liked the first version, and this version doesn't seem like it's going to disappoint me. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Clearly neither of you actually downloaded the mod. Good job making yourselves look like complete morons ![]() Clearly I did download the mod. Not all critisim is positive, and if you can't handle it, don't bother making a project thread. I'm not sure what praise you expected to recieve, but honestly, this mod isn't that great. In true Etu Nimtsal style, this mod is composed of a variety of minor changes done in a short period of time. You should have included the warning you left in the pre-update verson. Btw guys, I started this yesterday. Just in case you're expecting a decent conversion it's probably still buggy/there are probably strings missing None of their attacks are even interesting If you're going to make a half-assed quicky mod, expect negative critisism. You can either A) Call people morons for agreeing with you on the poor quality of the mod or B) Improve upon the mod with the recieved critisim and make something worth creating a project thread about. I would probably just take out the dragoon shadow in the iscript since it doesnt work with your new grp. Other than that, great job on what you did change. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Look. There is a lot more to modding than graphics or animations. I don't give a shit about either of them personally. And forgetting strings isn't anything unusual. Now stop flaming the mod until you've actually played it.

Now stop flaming the mod until you've actually played it. Yes, there's definitely more to modding than just graphics and animations, but when you leave those things out and keep it small and simple, you can't get mad when people point out that it's small and simple. Are you suggesting I downloaded the mod just to look at the file? I assure you I've played it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
