I need help on a trigger. When a person creates a comsat station they receive 24 rines at location X every 5 minutes. If the comsat station is destroyed, they stop receiving. I tried setting up this trigger, but they only received 24 rines for the first 5 minutes of the game only. Can someone set up a trigger for this? Thanks in advanced.

Conditions
Player Commands Exactly 1 Comstat Station.
Player Suffers Exactly 0 for Terran Unused.
Actions
Set Deaths for Player 1 Exactly 3600 for Terran Unused.
Preserve Trigger.

Conditions
Player Commands Exactly 1 Comstat Station.
Player Suffers At Least 1 Death For Terran Unused
Actions
Subtract 1 Death for Terran Unused.
Preserve Trigger.

Conditions
Player 1 Commands Exactly 1 Terran Comstat Station.
Player 1 Suffered exactly 1 Deaths of Terran Unused.
Create 24 Terran Marine At Location X
Preserve Trigger.

This Should Work, You'll need hyper triggers though.

This site has a wiki for a reason

This is the 2nd time in two days that a topic or post of yours violates the posting rules stickied in this forum. To avoid further trouble I recommend you read and understand them before posting again.

You might want to read this, it gives a good explanation of Death Counts, however, before posting, like Nude said, check the Tutorials, the Wiki, and try doing a search as well to make sure your question hasn't been answered already.

Actually, almost all questions have been answered on the site, why not asking to seek back in the 18833 posts ? Some persons don't have time to search in the wiki, the maplantis wiki and the tutorials... sometimes it is a long search.

AreYouAnIdiot, I think that your problem is that you used elapsed time as condition. This condition is mostly used to set a deadline in the map's triggers. The Death Counter is the best to use.

If someone has no time checking our knowledge base then I don't have time giving him a good answer. We have wikis and tutorials for good reasons, and that they can be ignored is not one of them.
The search function is very limited anyways it usually stops after 10-20 topics, so this is no excuse for not even trying.

Thanks for proving my point. Questions should only be asked about how can you achieve effect x, how do I solve bug y, and things like that. Specific questions in a certain environment. This site has excellent tutorials and 2 wikis that cover pretty much any basic method.

Thinking about it I might even change my policy and close topics that can be answered through tutorials and wikis immediately... We'll see.

This is not a bad idea, since it would make people, including me, follow the rules of the forum and we will maybe become a non-lazy mapping community... wich is great, I didn't saw it from taht angle but you are right.

Edit: Actually looking at all the posts that you answer with a link labeled "Use the wiki!", you should really do it, for the sake of us all  !
