Yep, a poll about our SEN communities favorite type of B.net maps, UMS, melee, bounds, and such.

I would have to say other, which would be Tuxs maps. They were original and not really in any catagory. Some might have been, like Astrogears, which was sort-of like an Aos, but still is original.

Horror maps should be renamed Horror/Zombie or Zombie needs a catagory for itself ;o

Poker.

I can't believe sports maps aren't up there though. They're a very popular category, and probably the types of maps I play the most. They include maps like dodgeball, nfl blitz, scv football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and futbol.

Actually nevermind. Those sports maps are technically games from real life so that poll option covers them.

AoS maps are my favorite, but idk what category that goes under.

I forgot DoTA how foolish of me o.o, do "other", well some dota are teamwork aswell

Black Knight... If you dare defile AoS by calling it DotA... *Spasm.* Anyway, in the case that you did not know (which means I get the chance to tell you first!), DotA was based on the AoS (Aeon of Strife).

I voted melee. It used to be UMS in general (Golems/Defenses specifically though) but I realized later how boring they were. Melee is nearly as boring, but as long as I keep my builds fresh and original, it works. Alternative non-UMS melee maps are cool too.

AoS, Poker, and Astrogears should all go under Arena type...
Altho some people like to refer AoS as "Siege/Assault" type... like Helms Deep (yuch)

"Tactical" is a bit vague..... I guess Poker could also fit into this category..
I Suggest u make the poll multi-choosable.. rather than have ppl choose one and only one..

I enjoy war/battle maps. Tactical is about the only thing that fit there...

Eh? I'm a big fan of tactics sorry to say, but Poker is a real life game, while AoD and Astrogears are arena, though i should of put a AoS/DoTA section (Silly me)

Fastest and Slowest are melee I think, custom melee is games like Armored Core, and K&K.

Fastest And Low money are way different game play types o.o, But what about being able to choose more than one V.V

your categories are definitely fail. You need to have assault type. Assaults can be AoS type(like STF), or DotA type(like TS/WoE), in turn each of these can be PvP(TS/WoE) or PvE(The first AoS) type. TS and AoS are in no way arena. DBZ Budokia maps are arena.

Also helms deep is not assault, it's tactical.

EDIT: OMFG you don't even have Survival (raccoon city)! That's just plain phail. I would actually classify maps like RC as a third subtype of assault, Reverse Assault, but that's just me. Also creating your own made up category "Team Work" is so broad that is applies to 90% of maps out there, which is stupid. Anyways, I think less of you now.
