I was looking into making new upgrades/And Stuff but I've just got stumped, How would I make a new upgrade? And or make upgrades change stats to units?
None.
There isn't a way currently to make new upgrades or techs. The closest you can get is editing how much certain upgrades get, which is done using FG.
None.
Okay, I have found that version you have a link to that has some support(Limited) but at least it supports the current version of SC, Sucks that I can't do lots of things, but since I can't use any downgraded versions in my mods, I guess this is what I have to deal with. So will there every be anyway in the future? also what do you mean?
"The closest you can get is editing how much certain upgrades get, which is done using FG. "
That for some reason confused me? So does that mean, its possible to say edit stim packs? Or those marines shells? And stuff like that?

Why can't you use downgraded versions?
What exactly are you trying to do? Make something like a speed upgrade for Reavers or a rate-of-fire upgrade for Zealots? (For example.) You can't do that. However, you could theoretically create two versions of the unit you want to create the upgrade for, one with the upgraded stat and one without it, make it so that the normal version of the unit is the non-upgraded one (so when you press the build unit button, the unupgraded version is built), then use ASM to change all the player's units to the upgraded version when he researches the upgrade.
As for new spells: lol no

then use ASM
You are WAY too obsessed with ASM. Practically all your suggestions have been: "use ASM, or you can't do it".

That's because it's true... The only way to create new upgrades like that is my suggestion. Unless you want to decompile the source and modify it, which is apparently really hard to do with C++. At least I gave him a solution that would work.

ASM is impractical for the majority of people. Unless you're willing to teach him exactly how to do it, don't bother suggesting it.
KK stole the words right out of my mouth.

It's possible to make "new" spells. DoA made a reverse recall exe edit that sends units nearby to where the recall is cast.

I made that as an exe edit in FG...
None.
Well, it does replace the existing recall...

Which I am.
No seriously, ASM is easy, I'm happy to instruct anyone who wants to learn it.

You can just make the "upgrade" button produce an invisible unit, and when that unit exists center a location on and replace all the units you've upgraded.

Why can't you use downgraded versions?
Finally a downgrader with support for Blizzards E-installation! But of course I run into another problem, I've asked this question before, "if you downgrade, can you still play in-some way with friends?" And they said you can use P-server's, Like Shadow Flares, But whenever I use ANY version and downgrade, I can't even log into ANY private server, (I Select the server, Hit go, And it Starts to load, Then Goes back to server selection x_x). So is there ANY way to downgrade your SC, AND play it with friends? x_X
Yes I can connect to the servers without downgrading, But what's the point of even playing on them if your not going to downgrade and play mods with friends x_x?
That should explain the problem I'm having, Which no one seams to help me with x_x.

Full heal, much? Using the ASM has the same effect, but without the full heal for all your units when you upgrade.
None.
While we're at it, why not just rewrite SC's source code?

Incorporate healing into the cost of the upgrade.
