I have an idea, What if i take an rp delete all the triggers and stuff and turn in to an rpg , it would be easy since all the terrain is done and i could add quests,spells and extra features to make it fun. Comment back if u think is good idea.

I don't think this is a good idea. First, you need permision from the creator in order to take the terrain.
The game might also look like a copy of another which some people don't like.
IMO,I think it is just unfair to take another person's terrain to clam as yours and just change the triggers- you should just make your own terrain.

I think it would be a lot more interesting if you could create your own terrain. Besides, you will learn to make better terrain, and it would be beneficial in the long run.

yah im not going to anymore it would be boring, Now im going to make my own rp (idea by my friend) it is going to be Rp - Cyrodiil. Im going to start making terrain Asap, ive already brain stormed the idea with my friend.

I think it'd be hard to use RP terrain for an RPG because RPG's should use special terrain that compliments the plot and the heroes. Most RP maps just seem to be general terrain with no specific purpose.

You could always add terrain and simply use the rp as a general template. Adding walls here and there is easy.

But his map would take credit for work he didn't do. When you play a map, you assume the creator worked on every aspect of the game. In this case, the author did not do the terrain, and only added some terrain to it, if any.

Well of course he should ask people so that they don't get offended, but it is still useful to not have to do much for terrain.
I personally would love it if somebody stole anything of mine, it makes me feel important.
