and how much i liked resident evil 4 made me wanna play resident evil 5 much more especially with new graphics

In my opinion RE 4 was more entertaining and just flat out fun than the others.

According to Wikipedia, it will only be released on PS3 and 360.

I only played the demo but so far it feels exactly like RE4 just with updated graphics and a new storyline. Though i could replay RE4 story mode 5 times over so this really isn't a bad thing.

Idk is it me or is RE not bloody enough? I wish they went with a strong macabre look, kinda like Silent hill.

Yeah, I downloaded the demo free too off my Xbox 360 a couple weeks back.
The controls are so slow compared to 4, but they are a bit faster when you play as Sheva.

Yes RE4 was a great game. I love it, but I don't love it the way I love RE1, 2 and 3. There is a certain style and gameplay that only the older REs have that RE4 does not, and simply because you might enjoy the newer, faster paced gameplay more doesn't mean everyone does. RE was a survival horror before it was anything else, it was not a 3rd person shooter/action game, and was never meant to be. As much as I love RE4, if they had changed the characters and a few story elements, it could've been a new game in a new series, not RE related at all.

I miss the old style, and I hope they do the RE2 remake they've been talking about because I grew up on RE2. I used to beat it after school three times a week for an entire year. The entire franchise means a lot to me, and though I like the new direction, they really took away some of what made RE the hit that it was.

I'd rather them keep RE, RE and Silent Hill, Silent Hill. I personally like how tame they are on the blood and gore. When I like to see crazy guts and blood splatter, I'll play SH.

I had the weirdest feeling that resident evil 5 wont be as scary and good as re4
because if the merchant is not there, i will miss him like a long lost son
and idk y but the feeling about non scaryness is killing me so i have to play it!!!
re4s regenerators and things jumping out scared me.. we need even more scarier stuff in re5!!
