I was walking through my town centre last night, and a guy kicked me then said 'Oooh don't trip' however the only reason I didn't kick the shit into him there was because it took me a second to connect the dots to what had just done and he had walked away. Then he hit some girl walking past him when he was a bit ahead of me. I didn't see this but my girlfriend did. Next time though, I think I should beat him up, however I didn't want my girlfriend to get upset and she was wearing heels so she wouldn't of been able to run away if she needed to. Do you think I should take on a gang of pricks and risk dying for a good cause, or should I just join society in saying 'Yes there's a problem, but we're all too scared to stop it'??

If you go and beat that guy up the next time you see him, he will have every right to take legal recourse against you. You (I assume) have no proof of a physical injury. If you do, then you have no proof that he caused it. The only condition under which you might (and I stress might) receive some leniency from the police if he were to call them after you rough him up is if you had filed a police report about the first kicking incident. I also assume that you didn't do that. By not hitting back immediately, you've pretty much lost any moral or legal right to retaliate.

This scum is not worth a blemish on your personal record or time in jail. By resisting the urge to seek revenge, you will not have committed a cowardly act. Revenge over a random kick is not "risking life for a worthy cause." You can rest assured that if this douche bag keeps acting like this, that he will be the one who finds himself bloodied or in jail.

If you'd rather not risk getting arrested or having him come after you for revenge at some later time, then yes.

The cops will not get involved if you do retaliate. I know his kind an while they are scum they won't do that, they will only be called if a third party is disturbed by what they are seeing.

In school when someone big stupid kid fucked with me I just followed them from behind, watched them open their locker, and came back to it at a later time taking 1 thing out of it every time I felt like he wronged me(that way he questions himself about maybe misplacing something). For teachers, I'd watch and see what car they walked out to. It really makes you feel better, and is pretty safe. There are so many ways that you can hurt someone other than directly.

Downplay him. Make him throw the first punch. Next to you see him walk up to him and tell him to kick you again, make you trip too. But make sure your girlfriend knows you are doing this ahead of time so she can be a bit back to run if she needs to (and take of her shoes to run >.>)

Or sue him for battery, just make sure you have evidence, as my crim law teacher says,"Nothing hurts a man worse than hitting his wallet."

You really just should have kicked his ass then and there. Making plans for revenge or getting your friend's to beat him up is just retarded, especially if you think it's for a good cause. He obviously has little respect for other people if he goes around harassing them randomly and I doubt even successfully kicking his ass is going to teach him much of a lesson. If anything he'll just be more careful and selective about who he harasses. In the end, you took his bs and didn't do anything about it, and already put yourself in with the society choosing to ignore the problem. That should just be the end of it. If he happens to harass you again, then there's your chance to take action then and there if you want to.

Or if you just want revenge, it might be fun/inventive/cool to buy a tranquilizer gun and shoot him with sleeping darts at various times when he is unsuspecting. It would screw with his mind and if your good, he won't know what hit him...

Well if you feel daring you could hit him back (preferrably fist in face), as a reflex or be generally prepared if you spot guys like him.

But as others have said that could get you into trouble but wouldn't change him. So my way is just to ignore these guys (until they really start beating someone up) and feel sorry for them.

I totally agree with Doodan - revenge over something like this is not worth it. Next time you see him, be prepared but do nothing. If he attacks, hit him in the face, but don't beat him up. Just make your position clear without too much drama.

I knew this piece of shit a couple of years ago that was acting like a comlete asshole. One time he attacked me, and I used all my hate for him in one strike (in the face). He fell (didn't faint, but was probably close to it), got his senses back, got up; wanted to jump on me, but then realised that he shouldn't mess with me. Within one or two months time, he got into fights with two of my friends (and got beaten up in both >_< )...

People like that have pathetic relations with almost everyone around them - he probably will get beaten up many more times (and, possibly, even raped in prision! yummm!)

I'm thinking that a tazer would be a GOOD idea, and just fuck them up hardcore then tell them not to touch people again. However the problem is most of them carry knives...

Knives and guns don't work after you tase someone, guys. It's kind of hard to articulate a counter-attack when all your muscles and involuntarily seizing.

I don't think you guys understand the concept of this... In america you have problems with gangs and people shooting because of drugs. Guns arn't particularly massive in the UK... People pull knives out on you for a LAUGH, they actually have fun stabbing people... It's not about what you do, or who you are with, if you're not friends with them, you're just another pass time activity... Yeah okay tasing someone would be great, but these people work in groups. You will never find these people acting hard when their mates arn't around. They are probably good people when taken alone, but when they are with their mates, they think just because they've had a couple of cans it's alright to act like a bunch of dickheads... under age selling of alcohol is the main problem...

Then a passive aggressive approach is your best recourse.

Wear assassin black clothes and cover your head, get a gun and find him. Shoot him in the leg and say "Ooh don't trip". Then run in case he has a group with him and cause of the police. Eventually find an spot and just take off the clothes and burn them. Get rid of the gun.
Chances are that everyone will be scared of the shooting and just start running, including his mates.

I'm with Doodan on this, he isn't worth it. Sure he may piss you off but if you think of the problems fighting him will cause in the long run, it really is not worth it.
